I think LE has an excellent reason for not posting her photo all over the media. Which tells me, they don't think she's alive. Just my opinion.

Well that is not a hopeful thought. :(
They must have much of what they need then if they are not looking for sightings of her with anyone.
I am going to hang onto hope even if it is not realistic but I understand why you think as you do.

Prisma went missing in April. It is now June. I get that media these days do not cover each and every case but seriously, what is going on here? I even get that LE does not share everything. Yet go search and see what you find, not much. If they know who did it, great, and if building a case, great; if not, it is not as if the public has been informed where all would know to watch for her or any possible perp so her son can have his mother home. I know things are not like TV and CSI instant arrests. But April to June? Not an arrest and pretty much not a word about it.

Sorry. Smh. They have video, they have her Jeep, they have probably more than we have seen, why no arrest?? Or any location of her and who took her or who she was with?? My God, she has a son whose mother just disappeared from his life off of the face of the earth one day never to be seen again.

Where are the searches??

Jmo. Venting on her behalf even though I do not know her.
news hound that I am I am local and they have said literally NOTHING no press NOTHING!!! it really makes me Mad but my experience with Dallas PD is not great and I don't have much faith that they are looking have they even said where her phone pinged last??? and if not why, we could hit the ground and search !

Judging by the (lack of) action, I'd guess that her phone last pinged in the building where she was last seen.

You state exactly what I wonder? There is basically no news to be found. I don't understand it. If they do not know where she is then why is it not being publicized?
If they do know, well then where is that information?

It makes no sense to me.

just take a hard look at some of the other Dallas missing cases ..... Crickets ! unless a volunteer group finds them or they just pop up, it wont happen they need the public's help and they tend to really keep things quiet I was hoping that would change with the new Chief

Interesting. I guess I do not pay attention to where and which agency, state, etc. I do see cases that I think a wise LE would be smart to use the resources that exist these days. Keep your investigation private to the point you need to for a conviction, yes, but use the internet and sites to get word out and perhaps even stir the pot and for sure to announce the person missing and possibly help FIND the person. Of course that is just my humble layperson opinion.

It makes you wonder what evidence they have that they are keeping close to their vests.

Exactly!! :(

From what I’ve seen from cases in other cities, this is pretty typical. I know someone whose sister went missing a couple years ago in my area and the same thing happened. LE will only release things to the public if they need the public’s help. They never filled in the family until they made an arrest. It’s definitely frustrating but I don’t see this case as being so unique in that regard.

JMO

I’m following 3 other cases here where there’s been no update in 3 months from anyone- media, LE, family.

*shrug*

@winter63
Could you update regarding status and or if any searches are planned. Any new info on Bill boards bringing tips. Is the reward even being put out to public?
Where are you PRISMA.
Someone knows something.

There is nothing new, the billboard is still up, reward is still out there 2500, so far nothing new has been happening

The media generally is not interested unless there is a new development or a press conference...just the way it is...

I think it would be very helpful to know:
- Last phone ping location and time
- What exactly the conversation with the babysitter was about
- If she had any prior medical issues that could cause confusion (diabetes for example)
- What exactly she said while on the phone in the video
- What her text messages were the last 2-3 days before she disappeared

I think the police could share a lot of this without compromising the investigation
