Oh gosh, she didn’t have any family that was local? :(
I’m not sure Winter63 meant that they weren’t local. I could be wrong though. There’s Dallas, Arlington, Fort Worth, Plano, and so on.....Traffic is horrible and they are spread out. I’ve worked up there quite a bit and it can take hours to get from Plano to Fort Worth. That’s just one example. MOO

I agree most people would never walk away from their child. It seems more reasonable that something happened to her for just that reason alone. However, let us consider that while it may have been a rash decision that she did walk away of her own free will. Why would she? Did the boyfriend/ex-boyfriend give her an ultimatum since he reacted so poorly to a simple phone call and she wanted to be with him? It seems that he too is missing now so are they together? Unless you are willing to live under a bridge, you have to come up for air sometime. Even then, LE runs your ID from time to time when you live under a bridge.
Did she believe her son would be fine with her family, or did the baby sitter contact the child's father? She did claim the call was 10 minutes, but it looks like it was longer, and won't share the details of the call. The police do not suspect foul play at this time and have said there is nothing against the law if someone wants to disappear. I get calling someone you think is local for help since family is far away, but she was not taking her mothers calls. I noticed that on her social media, her immediate family is not linked to her. This too seems odd to me if a family is close. I can see she used to be on her step dads FB but isn't now. Was she preparing mentally to step away? Did she call the child's father? I can see her mother and stepdad are separated and in new relationships, was that the reason she unlinked them? I guess I am just trying to establish her mental state and past behavior patterns with my previous question and this one. I would rather she had walked away than something happen to her, but do not want to discount either. Winter63 I hope they find her healthy.

BBM. I've seen no indication that the ex boyfriend is missing as well.

I don't find keeping friends and family apart in her social media interactions that unusual. We don't know how much contact she had with her family outside of social media. We also don't know, for example, if she had a best friend.
IMO the circumstances of her disappearance (arguing with the ex earlier in the day, parking her car in a hurry so it was blocking a street, disappearing into an appartment building) and her last known communication (calling for help, feeling confused and disoriented) clearly show that she was in a grave distress. We don't know what happened next and if or how she recovered. I doubt it ended with her starting a new life somewhere else.

It does seem unlikely that she would but I just wanted to ask the questions. If she did I would think she was pushed into it.

her mom lives over by Terrill her dad lives out by cedar creek lake, no one in Dallas
Terrell is roughly 25 minutes from Mesquite, and Kemp the closest town to that lake is roughly 45 minutes away.

Please forgive the ignorance of my question but what can we do to help the family? I ask that because I would like to help them. If this was my daughter I would be lost. Besides signs and posting flyers what else is there that we can do? If the LE are not sharing data with the mom and dad?

I don’t know if Prisma has any siblings, but that would have been someone I would have called.
The lunch and not going back to work, not taking mom’s calls, the hour long call with the babysitter, not mentioning she blew off her job- where was she all afternoon? And why?
The distress phone call to a local friend didn’t occur until hours later.

It looks like she has two but they look to be late teens. Her sister seemed to be close to her and the brother reportedly had spoken to her the week before. The sister was the one who shared with the news that the BF lived in the building or near and that she was back with him. This seemed to be news to the parents. Sometimes we are the last to know. Do we know if the phone has been used since?

According to @winter63, there were 8 or so more calls after the call seen on the surveillance video (at 5:50pm). The last call ended at 6:01. It's not clear from the news articles whether the phone was switched off immediately after or later.

Her sister just graduated, and her brothers are both older than her sister, the phone hasn't been used since that night she disappeared, not sure what any one can do to help except try and keep her missing shared with everyone, her dad seems to believe she will turn up after the custody battle is over with, someone knows something their just not saying

Thanks Winter63 it sure does sound like someone knows something but isn’t saying. What I don’t understand is why they think she would show up after the custody battle. IMO being gone/missing during a custody battle wouldn’t help her case. In fact, it could hurt her case. MOO

I wonder why her dad would think that?

  • #215
Maybe he feels that because it’s really the only scenario in which she’s unharmed...:(

Thinking outside box.

1. Witness protection program?
2. Any thing involving her military. reserves?
3. Any reason her career as in accounting could be related to her. MIA ( knew something and was. silentance.
4. Foul play involving stranger danger such as know stalker or. unknown.
5. Went undercover to expose. something on someone with. power. Felt her son was in danger.

I thought the step dad had hired a PI ?
@winter63 do you know?

If the bio dad should be awarded custody will this bring answers to finding PRISMA?

I think they feel whoever has her or knows what has happened will release her after the custody battle is over.

he has hired a PI, but hit a stone wall with finding her, no one wants to talk, if he wins custody IMO I think it will bring answers,

I may have missed it, but any idea when they expect a decision from the judge on custody?
