I wish we knew more! There have to be cameras around that caught more!
If the police were able to track her movements in the afternoon via her phone pings, they were able to check surveillance if/where it was present. They (and her family) also have her phone records. It would be interesting to know if she made/took any/many further calls after the long one to her babysitter and before she appeared in the appartment garage surveillance video.

I think police are at/have been at a dead end for awhile. If they had more info they could have released it - as the smallest piece of info could help. Because they haven't I'm afraid this is a cold case. Why don't they release where her phone pinged prior to 5:50?? What is so secret? Moo

Just one possibility: Could this investigation be connected to another one, which the release of certain information could compromise? From the outside it could also look like the police are trying to protect somenone's privacy/safety or refrain from spooking potential suspect(s) in this case. In some other cases we learned detailed movements of people prior to their disappearance.

That’s a good question! I am so worried for Prisma, and it’s hard to believe they’re at a dead end with the information they do have. :( It’s hard for me to believe that her disappearance wouldn’t be connected in some way to her lunch that ended up with the police being called. That would be just an unbelievable coincidence. Hopefully they do have leads and are just still working on it.

Ugh I feel so bad for her family right now... what they must have to think about every day in wondering what happened to her... the not knowing would make anyone’s head reel.
Hoping for answers and justice, I do not believe she went elsewhere willingly :(

This is an extremely plausible theory based on my investigations.

We need more info about that gap...someone knows something. She didn't go for 4 hour walk alone after the bar to think things through. Someone must have seen her in that time period.

I totally agree.

Bumping for Prisma

Bumping.... we’re about to hit the four month mark and I’m just so sad for the family having to sit and wait... I hope closure and justice is in the future for them.

I hope closure and justice is in the future for them.[/QUOTE Yes, its hard to believe its been almost 4 months since she has been missing, we all keep praying she will turn up! On a better note her son's father has given up custody of her little boy, he will now stay with Prisma's mother, and around the only family he has known. Thank you for all the prayers and not giving up hope she will be found.

Wow, that didn't take him long to give up custody...Glad he will be with Prisma's mother. I hope we can still find her. Prayers

  • #332
What happened to make him give up custody? Did someone start asking tough questions?

The boys father did what? I didn't think he had custody. I thought he had visitation and the grand mother had custody. So he has walked away?

He never had custody. However the judge gave him visitation and a chance to be awarded custody maybe in future.
I am assuming, bio dad walked away from that chance to build a relationship with son and gain possible custody in future. Judge was giving him a chance. MOO sad to think he lost interest in meeting the order set by judge.
Prisma's case needs a lead.

He was fighting for custody, and if he would have done everything the way judge wanted, he would have gotten full custody of his son after this year, one of stipulations was not to tell her son that his momma was missing yet, unfortunately someone in his household told her little boy. There were some other things that happened while prismas son was staying with his father between the other son and prisma's son. The family believes he just didn't want to have to pay support to prismas mother..We are all hoping we can still find her!

Yes, he walked away from building a relationship with his son, and being awarded full custody in the future.

So he isn't spending time with him? Not even making calls?

So he notified the Judge that he had dropped the case?

That is sad?

But if he has then I would say it is best.

The father has to skype 3 times a week, gets his son for part of summer, pay child support, if he does all this he will get him for Christmas vacation, along with talking with child phycologist to determine best interest of telling prismas son about her disappearance, after all this the judge will look at giving custody to the father, neither parties shall have alcohol or drugs around the child, so grandmother has custody for now

You posted that he was allowed to tell him after consulting with a phycologist. He may have.

Four months have passed since Prisma went missing and news media have picked up her story again.

They interviewed Prisma's father for the first article.

It looks like the police don't have enough info to move forward:

“We just haven’t gotten the leads that we would like to have on this,” said Lt. Stephen Biggs.

Mesquite mom still missing four months later, police have few leads

For the second article they spoke to Prisma's mom. She thinks that Prisma might be alive and held captive by someone.

Her case is still active and according to the police there's no evidence of a criminal act.

New information: A private investigator for the family confirmed that a witness saw Prisma crying in the parking lot of the Olympus building on the day she went missing and approached her, but Prisma told them to leave her alone.

A cuatro meses: ¿Dónde estás Prisma de Mesquite?

Not sure if they meant the garage instead of the parking lot (the original is estacionamiento) and they don't mention the time of the sighting. If she was seen crying, it seems more like a situation connected to her relationship.
