KERRVILLE, Texas -- According to Kerrville police, a body was found on Wednesday in a wooded area near Dietert Creek.

The body of a missing Kerrville woman was found Wednesday beside a creek there off Texas 27, according to Kerr County Justice of the Peace Bill Ragsdale, who said preliminary autopsy findings did not identify how she died.

KERRVILLE — A local man is being held at the Kerr County Jail on $100,000 bail on a charge of murder after the discovery last week of his former girlfriend's body beside a creek here.

David Clark confessed to killing a woman in 2010 during an argument at his home. The remains of Rebecca Richards were found along Junction Highway.
