LAREDO, TX (KGNS) - The trial date is nigh for the couple accused of placing their daughter’s remains in a bucket of acid.

A court hearing was set on Friday for both Gerardo Zavala-Loredo and Monica Dominguez.

Their next court date is set for September 20th.

and I just checked the court site for Zavala-Loreda as I had him for a hearing for 8/23.

Hearing delayed for mother of Texas girl found dead in bucket of acid

LAREDO, Texas (KWTX) A plea hearing scheduled Friday for a Laredo woman accused putting her 2-year-old daughter’s body in a bucket of acid after the girl drowned while unsupervised in a bathtub in February has been postponed until later this month.

She was on probation at the time of her arrest after she pleaded guilty in 2016 to an injury of a child charge in an incident that left her then 9-month-old son injured.

In April the probation was revoked and she was sentenced to a 10-year prison term.
