MISSING: Shawn Bates, 45, Houston, Texas (6/9/25)

Shawn Bates had had serious medical complications in the weeks prior to his disappearance and has not been seen since June 9, 2025 at approximately 10:30 AM, on foot, near the 12500 block of Sandpiper Dr, Houston, TX 77035.

Shawn was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants, and red/black Jordans tennis shoes.

Texas EquuSearch needs your help finding a 45 year-old man in need of serious medical attention.

His family says they're concerned for his health and safety after he crashed his car in Southwest Houston and disappeared.

Oh yeah man he was very very ill. I really hope that he's in a hospital as a UID somewhere. There are hospitals all over Houston and the surrounding areas. If a nearby ER was on diversion he could have ended up at any of those facilities. I worked in lots of the ERs around there and this sort of thing would happen every once in awhile. I think it's so strange that there were never any prominently-placed posters or info regarding missing and UID around the ERs because so many people circulate through. I hope he is found very soon and that he's able to get or is getting medical attention asap.
