Lovely little Relisha Rudd has not been found to date. Thinking about her and her case, I'm remembering KT bought lye and trashbags, iirc...Surely he wouldn't have...OK time to stop my brain right now.

Ah Relisha :( Certain cases bring memories of ones previous. With Sherin's disappearance I find myself thinking of Dylan daily.

I think a reckless driving charge on the dad Wesley Mathews speaks to his character. It speaks to his judgement and parental fitness in terms of safety (although we already know he's an unfit parent). It may even be the reason CPS was called in before.
I thought CPS was called when her little arm was injured and in a sling.

However, if it were a "rehoming" situation it would have been easy to come up with a much better story. Why not just say 'the biological father found out about the adoption and wants her back'?

Because that would be easy to follow up on, for one, and there's also a stigma in returning adopted children. The woman in the other post I made, about this, lost friends, and iirc, was berated by complete strangers, for going back on the adoption. It would be much easier to say that she wandered off, than I re-homed her through an ad online, like a puppy.

But who would follow up? Following up would entail knowing who to contact in India. All the parents have to do is spread the story and say they are too upset to talk about it when anyone asks prying questions.

Would the school she attended call LE or CPS if a child was removed from the school suspiciously?

I have ring doorbell. I have it set up to catch cars passing by my house. Cars driving quickly get picked up as well as the trash guys...lawn people....Anyone who has the same perimeter set up on ring as I have, on that street, could of picked up the car leaving.

This guy being in IT might make tracking his movements harder.

Me, too! I absolutely love it. I live in a safe area, but no area is safe anymore unfortunately.

Nowadays, I think more and more people are looking into security cams for their homes. These times we live in now, are not like back in the day.

I think since they are looking for surveillance videos, whatever occurred probably was after daycare/school hours.

No, someone would have contacted CPS. They've already had CPS in their lives and kids don't just get sent back to India overnight. If they were deeply tied to their church, they'd have talked with someone in their church, if they had been talking of sending her back, because her parents were wanting her back, there would be an airline ticket, at the very least. Also, the former parents would have to formalize new custody papers.

I don't really have him going online, and re-homing her to a stranger, as my top theory, but it is a theory of hope. If that is what happened, they may be able to track her down. He is in tech so I'd think he knew his way around the Internet to find these kinds of groups.

I would think if they'd rehomed her they'd have fessed up to that by now. Losing their other daughter and currently being viewed with suspicion by the world of having killed her has to be far worse than the embarrassment of finding her a new adoptive home. I'd think the family who took her in would also have seen her on the news by now and contacted authorities rather than being seen as involved in an abduction or something.

I think that just came from a family friend. (Rumour)
It was reported in news media that CPS has been involved with them in the past and are working with police on the investigation. Not a rumor.

The rumor part is bout 'how' they became involved with CPS. Some are speculating it was when she was taken to the doctor for her injuries to her arm. That is the rumor portion, if i understand correctly.

If you follow back the quote that you are quoting, you will see that it is referring to a rumor. The rumor about her having her cast in a sling because of a certain bone being broken resulting in CPS being called.
THAT was what was stated by the family friend, supposedly. Unless that is in MSM or stated by LE somewhere it is indeed, a rumor.

All we know FACTUALLY is CPS said they had contact with her family before this.

I am wondering if since they asked yesterday for people to submit their videos, if they got a lot of response and we will hear news today.

Yes, we don't know if CPS became involved at that time. Kids fall and hurt themselves and get an arm sling, it happens. If she was routinely made to stand across the alley behind a neighbor's house that could be why CPS was called. I certainly would.

Maybe, maybe not. Remember no one thinks he's anything but a wonderful dad. Together I think they could have pulled it off.

But my saying that was to say that I do not think this was planned nor do I think his wife was involved.

A possible scenario is that the mom was in the car looking for Sherin after she found out she was gone - maybe she got in the car to look since the dad wasn't doing anything to find Sherin.

Video would show if the car was moving like someone was looking around the neighborhood for a lost child or if it was moving like it was getting out of the neighborhood to hide a child.

Just tossing out ideas as we wait for more info. JMO

I would be out on foot screaming and knocking on doors up and down the street, and calling the police to help find my lost child the second I found out. Not in a car driving around for an hour, and even then not calling for help until four hours later.

The reference to CPS (DFACS, DSS) having previous contact could be as innocent as them having performed the home study for SW’s adoption.

Also, the request for video of the vehicle would enable LE to make a video map of sorts showing the driver and possibly SW in the vehicle on the way out and her missing on the way back. It could identify a smaller search area to recover her and prove beyond a reasonable doubt her condition at the time (i.e. if she was in her car seat until a specific time or lying in the vehicle.)

1 last thought- we do not know for a fact that LE has not recovered her and are awaiting autopsy results and/or a grand jury indictment before releasing info. I know that is not what we usually see but he has a very good attorney. LE will need to have all the ammunition possible to have a successful outcome in court. JMHO and food for thought
