I believe he has implicated another person also. The police spokesperson said there may be another arrest. It could only be one other person in my opinion.
I'm still trying to find any statement that another person is being looked at by LE. Where is it?

Woulld failing to call 911 or to seek medical treatment for a child seriously injured by someone else while you were present qualify as an omission of an act?
I'm not sure about the dad, but the mom IF she is and RN and knew of abuse...

"All persons are required to make the report immediately, and individuals who are licensed or certified by the state or who work for an agency or facility licensed or certified by the state and have contact with children as a result of their normal duties, such as teachers, nurses, doctors, and day-care employees, must report the abuse or neglect within 48 hours."

"Failure to report suspected child abuse or neglect is a Class A Misdemeanor, punishable by imprisonment of up to one year and/or a fine of up to $4,000."

I highly doubt he confessed to everything. Just what he thought he could get away with. Seems to be his MO.

Exactly. That's what I think. He's going to fine tune it to the evidence he knows they discovered since version #1 isn't flying.

Very interesting wording from Richardson PD - not that he confessed to anything, but that he "provided an alternate statement of events from those which he had given previously, regarding the disappearance of Sherin."

That makes it sound almost like 'take your pick.'

Story A? or Story B?

(Story B better be more Believable.)

Well this certainly was no accident. Imo, he was purposefully physically abusing her and the injury/ies Sherin sustained from her own father was so extreme and brutal it caused her death. That is why he is charged with an injury to a child.

Now since he is charged with injuring a child i think it is highly likely Sherin died from severe blunt force trauma to the body and head.
As for me? I'm still trying to make sense of the "injury to child" charge since it is very obvious that the child died, so why aren't there any charges for the death of the child? Trying to wrap my thoughts around this right now. Can't help but think that the death charge as well as the disposal of the body charge is going to be charged against someone else. JMO

Was Sherin discovered in the culvert in between the two rocks? If so, she was placed there so that she would be "stuck" between them in the case of a rush of water from a rain storm. JMO

I can't say what I think happened to Sherin because it involves someone that hasn't be listed as a POI...This is the second case I've followed on WS, and I just don't understand anything with this case. At all!

Maybe because she hasn't yet been identified? The "injury to child" could have come from his Story B.

Since they arrested him after then I think he did walk in and tell LE what happened.

That is just the way some in LE speak while not giving out any details.
I'm hesitant to believe whatever he told them was true.

Hurts my heart to think they can't identify her by photo identification. They are asking for dental records. I'm sickened.

I know. :(

Wonder if she was placed in the storm drain and then carried to the culvert by the rain water.

I must say I am very impressed with the actions of the Richardson Police Department. They have done a very good job in finding this sweet little girl.

I'd think it's because of decomposition. :( it's been warm there.

We don't know what he told them.
Right, we don't. I, personally, don't think whatever he said was the truth.

The milk story never made any sense to me. But I am going to wait to hear the details of the new story before deciding if it makes any sense or not.
