They generally do not do anything like this with a standoff or at the end of a police chase. They know this guy is bad news and he is NOT going to be allowed to take another life ! Thank you Houston PD for protecting your citizens.

My heart is breaking for this family It's bad enough that you lose so many loved ones in one night, but that "one of your own" did it just defies any understanding. Prayers to them.

They have to do everything they can to take him alive. He just slaughtered a bunch of people and they have to make sure it is safe for them to get him out.
