Someone was saying under the police page that amber alerts on cell phones was fairly new technology and that’s why they weren’t going through. I’ve always gotten them though in the areas I have lived.

I have been getting them for years. Every time an alert for Texas goes through, I get them. (Except this one.)

I agree. Back looks like a Ford and side looks like a Volvo. But who knows, it could be many things.

The Fort Worth Police Department is searching for SS, white, female, 8 years old, DOB 4/9/11, 4'5", 56 LBS, brown hair, blue eyes, freckles under eyes, pierced ears wearing a teal shirt with "Centennial" in pink letters and periwinkle & seafoam green leggings.Police are looking for unknown black male with a bald head, no facial hair, skinny build wearing a navy jacket and a gray shirt. The suspect is driving a 4-door dark gray vehicle with alloy wheels. The suspect was last heard from in Fort Worth, TX around 6:30 pm. Law enforcement officials believe this child to be in grave or immediate danger.

There was a big uproar recently about Amber Alerts in the middle of the night scaring people. It is possible the alerts will roll thru in the morning.

Amber Alert Issued For Kidnapped 8-Year-Old Girl, SS, In Fort Worth
Police say the call came in around 6:40 p.m. Saturday in the 2900 block of 6th Avenue. The child was apparently walking with her mother when a black male in a vehicle approached them and grabbed the 8-year-old.

According to police, the mother tried to jump into the vehicle to get her daughter, but she was pushed out. The vehicle then drove off.

The child was last seen wearing a teal shirt with “Centennial” written in pink coloring, periwinkle seafoam green leggings. She has brown hair and blue eyes.

Police say they are actively searching for the child and the suspect. Police do not have a clear description of the suspect’s vehicle other than it’s a dark-gray four-door sedan with a paper tag.
