Firefighters have freed an ROTC student who was trapped inside a safe at Edison High School Friday.

A news release from San Antonio ISD said firefighters were able to free the student just before 3 p.m. and that he was in "good condition." The news release stated district officials "will be working to find out how this occurred and will take steps to ensure that it does not happen again."
