Wise County Sheriff's Office
On April 9, 2019, about 1:17 p.m., an approximate 5'3" white female weighing approximately 80 pounds and ranging in age from 15 to 25 with shoulder-length black hair appeared on video surveillance cameras in the Indian Trails Subdivision, located between Decatur and Bridgeport, Texas approximately 1/2 mile from US Hwy 380. She was dressed in 3/4 length black leggings, tennis shoes, an athletic-type top, carrying a backpack and a large satchel-type purse or bag.
The female approached a residence and left a message on a security system voicemail asking for help. Video surveillance in the area shows the female look around as though someone was following her. The female remained in the area until something appeared to attract her attention when she immediately turned and ran toward a heavily wooded area.
The entire neighborhood has been canvassed and no one saw her or recognized her. There are no reports of runaways or similar incidences in the surrounding area. Local school districts have been contacted and advised that no one matching the description was absent from school during the time in question.
If you recognize this female or have information concerning her, please contact the Wise County Sheriff's Office at 940-627-5971.
Note: The age in the flyer was corrected (see Wise County Sheriff's Office) following the original FB post.
