I know! Like I went to school with her or worked with her, but have lost touch.

Ugh, this must be how she feels about her own self-not really knowing who she is.

Monica's jaw seems to square. I could be way off, but I think she looks like Tara Calico.

You know...she does resemble Tara a lot. Maybe it is why she looks so familiar to everyone..because a lot of us studied Tara's photo so often when we were trying to figure out that OSBI photo they said ended up being a woman from Iraq. Quite possible! Wouldn't that be a fabulous miracle?! WOW! I bet that story would go national in a heartbeat!

Tara had a cowlick on the right side of her temple. I've been wondering if the hair sort of pushed out of shape on the amnesiac's right (HER right side) side could be a cowlick.

I think hazel eyes can often be seen as green (Tara) eyes as well.

Those pics of Tara are from when she was so young on her page tho. She would have changed and grown into a woman now...so her features would obviously have changed some over the years. >wink< I know mine have changed since I was a teenager!

I'm really wondering if it was just the amnesia that landed her in the hospital, or if there was something else wrong with her. And if perhaps she needed medical treatment but is in some kind of trouble, so pretended she didn't know who she was.

Or her home life had become so unsatisfying that she needed to escape and so she pretended she didnt' know who she was. If she was wandering around acting strangely, people might call an ambulance and she might end up in the hospital without any kind of physical injury.

the video said the tattoo is on her lower shoulder and the description says lower back. Inconsistencies aren't going to help this poor woman.

Maybe they should show the video in new orleans instead of texas?

Grrr at the recent news link. First of all, she's been in this condition since 7/18/07?! Why didn't they go to the media just a little earlier?

Secondly, why couldn't they record her speaking? Maybe someone would be able to identify a part of the US she came from based on the way she spoke.

I agree about having her speak--does she have an accent? I wish they had more than one picture--does she have dimples when she smiles? Did she have any jewelry or items in her pockets? What brand is her clothing she wore? Did she have a purse, backpack etc? So many questions!!

Yes, surely they could have had her smile and also take off her glasses. Take a few different pictures and please get a digital camera! lol

I wonder if she is suffering from a mental illness? Placement in Terrell State Hospital is usually reserved for those with severe and persistent mental illness. If she were functional, you'd think she might have been placed in a shelter or transitional housing. I don't think the "amnesia" diagnosis would merit her a spot in Terrell.
