While we had a little "break", I was sitting here thinking how weird it is that Missy carried on this "familiar and flirtatious" conversation with this guy on LinkedIn AND another guy (or girl, we don't know for sure) ALSO sends Missy a message on LinkedIn. I know people use LinkedIn, but I would think that if someone wanted to send her a creepy message, they would send it on her FB. I don't know....I just can't help but feel that the two are related in some way.

Wouldn't they have to be a Facebook friend of MB's to message her there?

CT has a Linked in profile and according to her profile she has an MBA so she must be pretty intelligent

Not sure if I know what I am doing here. But was trying to see possible cell towers around the church?

Before bed, because I am certain by the time I get back tomorrow after handling RL I will be way behind, I just wanted to ask, have we once seen or heard from MBs family? I know obviously BB and his family have been front and center, but have we seen anything at ALL?

Someone ask why she might communicate via LinkedIn instead of fb...one thing that comes to mind is, if you were going to have an affair your spouse might think to check your fb, instagram and snapchat, but just like you suggested why would you think to check LinkedIn? It's available and probably pretty secretive (or was). MOO

Can someone please tell me what "airplane mode" is? I hate to say it but I don't own a cell phone. You can :stop: laughing now.

Interesting that all this information has been dropped out there for the public to stew over and guess who is responsible. Yet, nobody's door has been kicked and in and hauled off to jail. I wonder why that is?

Not necessarily, IMO. I have received messages from people on FB that I wasn't friends with. FB is weird and always changing though--so, it may have gone to the "other" folder.

Probably just a "coincidence" that both of these convos happened on LinkedIn. ;)

When you put your phone in airplane mode you no longer are searching for a cell signal or pinging off cell towers. Basically when you fly on an airplane and they tell you to turn off your devices and people still play on their phones, it's probably an app that doesn't require the Internet and the device is in airplane mode.

I'd say so! Especially an MBA from SMU!

Intelligent and probably comes from some means. SMU ain't cheap.

No you can send a message to someone you are not friends with.

yeah but I thought it wouldn't actually go to their Message folder and it goes to an "other" folder so people don't always see those messages

A judge’s order seeks to have California-based LinkedIn share all information that was sent to Bevers through private messages, chats or email between April 14 and April 16.
“We have reasonable grounds to believe that the killer, who is still at large and poses an immediate danger to other human beings, communicated with the Decedent in this manner in that time period,” a detective wrote

That is odd, to me anyways. I don't know anyone except for my dad who uses linked in to communicate with friends but that's because he doesn't have FB. I don't see why a person who is very active on FB would use Linked In for private chats unless she just felt it was more secure/she could hide more that way. JMO.

Because she was an entrepreneur-type, I can see MB making connections through LinkedIn, and it's not a stretch to imagine that people in her life would know she's active on LinkedIn...so that would be a sneaky way to contact her with creepy messages.

But wouldn't that involve creating a dummy account? You can't just contact someone on LinkedIn without an account that identifies you, right?

Someone upthread mentioned getting unsolicited messages through LinkedIn, so maybe the creepy messages to Missy are a red herring? IDK.

No, you can message anyone on fb. Now she might not see it, fb has some stupid filters you have to go "looking" for them if you aren't "friends" but you can email someone even if you aren't their friend, unless you are blocked by the other person.

They are getting close, I believe. This was the period she was in Austin with AT and it is also the period she received the "creepy" message...April 15.

I don't recall a woman killing another woman in such a brutal way. Strikes me as odd.
