True, though revenge would fall under the category of Pride (possibly coupled with Love or Money).

I thought that at first, too, but thought about revenge coming from many angles :/ Taking revenge for someone else's pain, for example. You hurt my friend/relative/child so now I'll hurt you (or someone you love).

Ok I noticed something strange in the video and I know we have all watched it a million times so maybe someone else saw it and figured it out. In the video released on 4-18-2016 there is a purple table off behind the swatperp there is something black in the shadows and it almost looks like someone is standing there. Just noticed this but it could be a shadow maybe? Anyone else notice it? It's around the 3:58 mark.
I believe we looked at that a few threads back and determined it to be a shadow? Anyone else remember?

Midlo PD 2015 annual report shows it's a rather small department, compared to other agencies, fed & state, that are assisting in Ms B's death.

"Midlothian Police Department
At-a-Glance, 2015
43 Full Time Police Officers
6 Part Time Police Officers
15 Full Time Dispatchers
2 Part Time Dispatchers
6 Community Services personnel
4 Civilian Staff
"

The section on Patrol Division is followed by --- (my bolding below)

"The Criminal Investigations Division is under the supervision of Commander John Spann and staffed with a Sergeant, Corporal, 2 investigators and a civilian property/evidence technician. They work and offset 8 hours schedule to provide coverage and availability. The division is responsible for conducting follow-up investigations, interviewing witnesses, victims and suspects, preparing and serving arrest
and search warrants, and ensuring that felony and misdemeanor cases are properly filed with the District Attorney’s office. They are also responsible for maintaining the property/evidence room. Investigators also perform the function of crime scene investigators. They receive advanced training in criminal investigations, sexual crimes, child crimes, identity theft, on-line crimes, property crime, crime scene investigations, photography, latent print and DNA collection, and other top
ic."

"Cases Filed by CID
Felonies
2014……….397
2015……….365
Misdemeanors
2014……….175
2015……….23
"

^ Not a criticism, just facts. Sometimes small is good, sometimes other agencies are helpful. Who knows which of these agencies will 'crack the case'?
Hoping for teamwork & contributions from all involved, jmo.

RIP, Ms B.

I have one more observation that may have already been hashed out. In my small town where services tend to be cheaper, it costs $8.10 to dry clean a t-shirt. The Laura Scott brand is not super-expensive ($14 or less new). Why would you pay that much to dry clean what would seemingly be a disposable shirt? Also, one of the news sites reported that RB had been wearing it to break up the dog fight. Why was he wearing a woman's shirt? So many questions and not enough answers!!! Thanks for listening and for all of the great work you all do!

Don't forget that dry cleaners also provide laundry services (generally) that can include stain removal, minor alterations, simple steam and press. A dry cleaner/laundry service would know all the tricks to clean blood from a variety of fabrics. I ruined something once using hydrogen peroxide (regular drugstore strength) to remove blood from cotton. It worked so well when I dabbed in another spot, so I soaked the thing overnight. Disintegrated the fabric where it lay the longest.

If it happens again, to the pro I'll go.

Yes - when it originally came out I had the same question. Apparently there were two bloody shirts. One was a man's shirt that belonged to RB and the other was the XXL woman's shirt that belonged to his wife. LE took that one from the dry cleaners. According to the interview, both shirts were at the dry cleaners but RB didn't seem to think they took his. As far as I know it hasn't been confirmed whether or not they took both or if they didn't why they only took the woman's shirt.

If they didn't take his, it reinforces the thought that they really are looking for a woman. I can't imagine they wouldn't take his too, though, because women also wear men's shirts.

:banging spoon and fork on table: hungry for more information.

I under what you're saying and what's been said on here is that an innocent explanation could be that they gave him a polite answer that there was an 'accident' rather than saying she was murdered and then 'accident' turned into 'car accident' in the subsequent retellings to the family (SIL is the one who used the phrase, but she was getting it many levels removed as it went Camper ->BB-> BB stepmother->SIL).

And her comment about wanting to be a detective and watching every episode of Dateline...then was on Dateline.... that still get me.... then her comment about (paraphrasing) Our lead did not work out and we are upset about it... I get that it didnt pan out and solve case but again my mind went back to that comment. First time I ever heard her speaking I had feeling that BB was having an affair also. JMO....

Yes we all agreed it was a shadow.

I have not been able to keep up. Outside AT & CT having target numbers, has there been any speculation as to why they may be under suspicion?

Referring to the "flashlight" info request on the AT&T SW... remember when all that hoopla regarding the malware and spyware of the flashlight apps could pose a security risk for users on their ios and android phones? I wonder if that is applicable here? LE may just be covering all their bases, but how thorough is that?!!! :D

BRILLIANT! I hadn't heard that and your post prompted me to Google and BAMMO - jeezopeez it seems like anything with electronics (remember the refrigerator spying news a few years ago) can spy on us

I'm not sure if the caller said "car wreck" or "accident." That needs to be clarified.

At first I thought it was strange that a camper would call BB, but now that we know there was at least one camper who was friends with the Bevers through through their children, it doesn't strike me as strange any more. I can picture myself doing something similar if I had knowledge of a mom friend of mine being injured - my thoughts would be with the mom's family, especially if I knew the children. (I actually don't have phone numbers of my mom-friend husbands on my phone, but I have numbers if we are couple-friends, ykwim?)

Even in making the phone call, though, I wouldn't explain the horror of what happened. I can picture using the word "accident" as a kindness....and because it wouldn't be my place to do anything more than alert the husband to come quickly.

I think the phone call from the camper to BB is innocent on the caller's part, though I didn't at first. This is why, I state,
JMOpinion, subject to change.

Did KC have a spin class that morning? Possible that one of the Campers also knew him called him and he called or wife MC. called BB? IIRC KC suppose to have 5 am Spin classes. Do not know days or locations.

ETA: Who normally got the girls up and off to school? ***NOT Talking about the Daughters only the morning/school day arrangement of adults*** Since MB had early morning CG class & presumably BB was home normally of the mornings, possible that someone was going to be helping get the oldest/youngest off to school...carpool? Middle was home schooled.per MB FB.... Possible MC & KC dtr was friends with Bevers daughter was going to assist. Someone had to even if they rode the bus. But this particular week BB would not be home (at least not that Monday morning...) Possible one of the campers is also friends with KC & MC and knew of the Bevers/ C daughters friendship? Just thinking out loud.

Phone records for the AT&T numbers March 1- April 24 ....

3 weeks since Missy Bevers was brutally murdered inside a Midlothian church. What PD just told me next on @NBCDFW

https://twitter.com/JeffSmithNBC5

Maybe we'll get a little news to chew on.
You'd think this 5-hour old information on Twitter would be on their website by now.
Yes, I'd like a little cheese with my wine...er, I mean whine. :)

ETA: Found it.

What difference would that have made? Even if they did drive-bys they wouldn't have discovered anything before the campers did IMO. Resources are limited and I'm guessing that a workout on a church lawn is pretty low priority at any time of day.

If anything the church should have made sure all of their cameras were working and that they had cameras outside capturing all the doors and windows on the exterior of the building, IMO.

when doing a "drive by".

Sometimes it's as simple as a seeing that LE is in the vicinity. It works as a preventive measure, too. Some people might be spooked enough just knowing that and move on. It can make a difference and if there was no value in it, they wouldn't continue to do it.

Which is not to say LE should be blamed in any way if they weren't doing it at all or that they were patrolling, but just missed seeing something odd. Timing can be everything.

No blame to LE either way and I do see value in the practice.

Considering family and friends had to be interviewed Search Warrants had to be written, signed by the judge, issued to the companies, the companies had 3 days? To respond, more SW, I'm sure we haven't seen, divulging into the cell records, people's backgrounds, alibis, videos gone over and over, NYPD brought in to help with the cells, Computers analyzed, building a case, dotting their I's and crossing their T's and I'm sure I've missed a lot, I don't think it's taking to long. I think LE is holding things close to their vest, where they should be. And we will know more when they are ready to let the public know. Jmo

Gonna be completely honest here. <modsnip> But this case is taking way too long to solve. The case should have been solved by now. What you guys don't know, the police has tons and tons of advantages at hand. There are so many ways you can track computers, phones .. Camera enhancements.. And having the Texas Rangers and other resources on their team should have helped find their killer by now. This case is overly frustrating. No reason this killer shouldn't have been caught by now.
I agree it seems like it should be solved by now. I think that it is solved for LE. I don't think they are lollygagging in any way though. But no one is going anywhere. The killer(s) that is. They are not on the run. They are sitting ducks. If anyone were to run (in my opinion) the gig is up. I think there are multiple players here. LE just like in the Teresa Sievers case has to make sure it's ironclad before arrests are made. They can afford to be patient and methodical. Most likely someone is cooperating and that is not just a rumor. And maybe they are waiting for someone else to roll.
It's hard but we need to be patient. I cannot wait until we can fully explore our theories.

Did the police originally say "Swat"? Looks like a cop jacket to me. Fake or real will eventually be determined I guess. Imo

I'm trying to figure out what day KS said this. There's a person on fbook that posted something almost exact that's been on my radar.

I think the family knows who it is. Jmo

Or maybe thought they did. Reason I say is because of the comment KS said that day to the media. I will try to find what I am speaking of.

ETA:: * also this was the day prior to the funeral so I sure that emotions are raw to say the least. I had forgotten the time frame here. So I wonder what "lead didn't pan out" by this date? April 22nd? The AT&T Target Number Affidavit & Warrant were not signed until April 25th. * I am still thinking these may be AT&T subscribers numbers going to go back over the wording later.

"Missy’s sister-in-law, Kristi Sout, says the family has been in contact with police and thought police had a strong lead yesterday but it didn’t pan out. She says hearing the news that there is not a strong suspect is devastating

“As long as we're together everybody is okay,” said Stout. “I think tonight and tomorrow will be extremely difficult" http://www.fox4news.com/news/129779738-story

There is one good reason. It's a real life, not a CSI episode. Proper investigation requires time and patience, sometimes it takes many years to find out the murderer. As for camera enhancements, folks, remember please, there is no software that can turn low resolution footage into a HD stuff, not in real life anyway. So patience, people and cut the LE some slack. They are working their butts off to catch Missy's murderer.

Clearly, I know it's not a CSI episode but as someone that is a few months away from a bachelors degree with a concentration in this field, I'm telling you my opinion on the LEO. However, I will give them the benefit because they really are not 'equipped' to handle situations like this unlike if it was in a bigger city like Dallas. All I was just saying was 3 weeks seems to be a long time. I'm guessing that they believe the killer is someone who intentionally targeted to her because the safety of the community doesn't seem to be an issue.

Any woman that knew missy would not think they could go in there in kill her with a "tool". Missy was obviously in tip top shape and looked like she could kick alot of men's butts. I really think a woman would have used a gun if the intent was to kill missy. A man would think he could take her with a tool. Yes...I understand there is the element of surprise, but very risky with an athlete like missy.
