I went to hit send last night on this update when (boom) the thread was closed for review. I ended up falling asleep so here is a delayed version:

Previously on TMBT (The Missy Bevers' Thread) we talked getaway plan, shirtgate, RB/BB alibi, what was that Saran Wrap, door bar, taser, candle stick, square flashlight in swatperp's hand? Do we know if that is a headlamp on the helmet? Was there a break in and why didn't they take anything? Members posted fantastic maps & street view shots of the area. Why is MT (BB bio mom NOT VB who is currently married to RB) writing those letters? Why did KS do that Dateline interview and who called BB from the scene before LE? Who called MT? Why did they say accident? Does CT have a limp from a broken foot years ago? Moms commit bad crimes too someone mentioned. Who is swatperp? Are they male or female?

If you're just joining us on this thread, see my recap above bc you won't find new material here. No new news today. Members are getting tired and taking breaks bc they feel 3 weeks is far too long for the alphabet soup to solve this case. We learned some Facebook sleuths (side eye) are SS our ideas and talking about them in their own group. Yeah, we're smart but give us the credit and join us here if ya don't mind. K, thx.

As for me, I've pretty much convicted 3 different people of being swatperp from my own sleuthing with some friends :) so really I hope LE and the Texas Rangers (not the baseball team) are close to putting the handcuffs on the real swatperp so I can see how close we got!

Group hug. <3 You guys are fantastic!! Hang in there, answers will come. These things take time in real life, it's just so much faster on TV, I know.

Okay, back to your regularly scheduled programming.

Lol. Group hugs back my friend. I have been trying to exonerate everyone that knew Missy. Just with the hopes that families don't suffer.

Now I still think that the perp is a female. But I still want to exonerate the female that I think it could be.

But since I have been wrong plenty of times. Then maybe the perp is actually a male. Idk.

You are brilliant :loveyou:

For me it's not so much the length of time or the fact it "should be solved" by now. It's just that the threads go too fast and I can't keep up! I'm adding you to my contacts so I can see when you post.

IMHO, they had to have flown in from California then. I'm not sure where they were in Cali when they received word, but it takes close to 20 hours to drive non-stop from San Diego to Dallas.
Since it was a blanket statement she made in response to a question from a sympathetic friend, keep in mind that she could have meant they drove OVERNIGHT. Or arrived while still dark. As a southerner, I call anything that happens during the time I would normally be sleeping "last night". Even so, I agree it would be pushing it.
So must have flown.

Yeah. I really think they got a good enough look to track down that car if it was indeed a car. May not have been perps, or it may have been perp number 2 on lookout.

Agree. But the sad part is if LE knew the perps car description that was parked all along and somewhat out of view. Then why release orher people being needed to have warrants served for phone or Internet communication.

Now I'm sure before they got public warrants for everyone. They should have at least known which poi car fits this description.

But since they named so many people in the digital check warrant. They simply put a mark on so many people. When only 1 or 2 may have access to the supposed car seen on video. Jmo.

Just the facts mam.

im sorry I must have missed this status report, LE saw the perps car / Is that correct ? Did they not make that public ? Seems silly as that would narrow the search considerably, maybe I mis read this ?

I can't bold it - but AT did not found Camp Gladiator.

In fact, it seems, from his own postings, that he only just joined them two weeks before the murder. Which is why I have a hard time there would be enough time for a relationship with MB to blossom, or for jealousies to brew, and a murder conspiracy to take place.

VB posted publicly that they arrived in TX monday night.

I agree. Thats what I said too, had to have flown. Had a friend get stationed in CA and another friend rode out there with her. They switched off driving and it still took almost a full 24 hrs (potty breaks and stretch legs/eat)

Per RB public fb, they were in their RV and "landed in Oceanside CA for 2 weeks" April 11 at 5:58pm · Oceanside, CA ·
They are back in CA as of few days ago. So safe to say yes they flew in. May be why didn't have many clothes.
I did find a flight from San Diego landing at DWF at 10:14pm Monday April 18th, so possible that flight. Makes sense to fly back after that horrible news. JMHO

I bet she's a packing granny, I know I would be and Texas has the Castile Doctrine something I miss here in Washington. Get this: you have a duty to retreat in Washington, if a killer enters my home with the intent to harm me I have to go to another room , shut the door and anannounce that I have a gun, then if the killer opens the door or shoots at me after he has opened this door then and only then can I shoot the jerk, how messed up is that ? ARG...
A mischaracterizatiom of "duty to retreat" where it exists.
And Washington has no duty to retreat.
" Washington State has no “duty to retreat,” as precedent was set in State v. Studd (1999) and State v. Reynaldo Redmond (2003) when the court found: "that there is no duty to retreat when a person is assaulted in a place where he or she has a right to be."'
Furthermore there is always a reasonable person standard- if a reasonable person would be in fear of imminent bodily harm, one asserts self defense
Often the "duty to retreat" is mischaracterized in this way. A more apt example of duty to retreat would be if you were arguing in your front yard with a person on the street, and they verbally threatened you - you would go inside rather than pulling out a gun and using the excuse to kill someone. In reality, "duty to retreat" law exists (when it does, not in Washington) to ensure that responses are proportionate to threats.

Just wanted to put my 2 cents in.... the walk could be caused by a physical abnormality.
My son and husband both walk that way and we were told by the pediatrician and orthopedic
doctor it is because his hips are rotated outward. Apparently its more common than one would think.
It is a very pronounced gait.... Also someone was saying about a limp. I recently found out that I have
osteoarthritis and osteoporosis and was in a cast for two years (off and on) I walk with a limp as my walk
is painful.
Just my opinion.

Oh, it certainly could be due to an abnormality. But we have no evidence of such an abnormality in the woman in question. In fact, we DO have evidence of her body shape while pregnant. It shows the typical swayed back of a pregnant woman, not the back going in the other direction - the humpback, rounded shoulder we see typically in older people, especially males. Her neck is not protruded forward in ANY picture I have ever seen of her, either. Nor can that be seen on photos of actual SWAT officers, which to me suggests that it's not due to heavy gear.

But that's just MO.

IMO these latest warrants to tie everyone involved in, and to have a ton of evidence. I think they have known from facial recog a few days in who main perp is. Just nailing anybody else involved. Wouldn't want anyone to get by with anything on this one for sure.

Agree. LE said the perp parked car was seen in a far view of the camera. But they couldn't get the license plate and they didn't want to give out a possible make and model of the vehicle.

So LE knew things while breaking up marriages for flirtatious conversations that didn't have anything to do with this at the moment. Jmo

Idk. But I don't think that you can sue a non-profit church due to a camera malfunction. Jmo.

Now maybe a Walmart since it's a full bloom business and their cameras are expected to be functional for business purposes.

But a church isn't forced to have cameras. So if a camera goes on the fritz then that is that.

Jmo.

Plus, a case against the church would have to show that malfunctioning external cameras contributed to MB's death, and I don't see how that is true at all.

Exactly. How could a camera have prevented her death

AND, because of your hard work, when I rewatched the video of the suspect moving from the double Dutch doors to the auditorium doors.. that video part of much speculation about a helmet light or not flashing? I wondered if the auditorium doors have those inlaid vertical windows like so many other doors in the church. It would seem reasonable that people might need to peek in the door window during services but might not want to disturb everyone by opening the doors. Anyway, I think he had a small handheld flashlight with a pulse button in his left hand that he holds up, and the light hits the inlaid door window reflecting light back at his helmet and then on the closeby wall. And that actually makes sense that he is shining his flashlight through the inlaid glass window of the auditorium door to see in there where it is dark, like what is this room, what's in here? JMO. Optical illusions abound in these videos and photos. Thanks again for all you do.

First just want to say Thank you and your Welcome... I see it as a Group Effort ;) ...:drumroll: Respectfully BBM.... Sorry to break the news lol but those doors do not have inlaid glass window. NO WINDOWS ;) View attachment 94184

If it turns out that they had a true POI at the time of these warrants, I will be shocked. It's hard for me to accept that anyone would besmirch the reputation of a dead person and cause misery to the innocent just for the heck of it.
That would be pretty despicable.
And honesty I have a hard time wrapping my head around it anyway. I don't think the wording was necessary to obtain the warrant. "Intimate" etc...

NYPD assisting in Texas church murder investigation

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/nypd-assisting-in-texas-church-murder-investigation/

The sources said investigators are hoping the killer, who was dressed in what appeared to be police gear, had an active phone that sent signals to nearby cell towers as he or she confronted Bevers inside the Creekside Church.

Police have indicated the mother of three was attacked with a hammer.

Just wanted to FYI... When I made this post, it was on page 61 and I was thinking a NEW THREAD was fixing to OPEN, Dont want people thinking that I knew there was a problem, I was pages behind lol and didn't know a clean up problem was happening. Just so we are clear

Sparky I got feeling this thread fixing to close can you carry this over with new please. Thank you

JMHO.....Looking at Google maps... JMHO there really was A LOT of planning going into this .. This is Google Street view May 2015. As we know from media photos the FRONT of the church is higher ground than the REAR. It starts dropping off about the Metal Kitchen Door entry area.... From the STREET (HWY 287) There are NO Street lights in that area. Suspect actually would not have had to "hide" any vehicle from site. And from the STREET, prior to the 3:50am Suspect first seen on video until 4:16 when MB entered the parking lot it was dark and storming. Even afterwards when first Camper arrives at 4:35am. Even if heard sound of veh leaving and no veh lights on Suspect could see straight ahead because of the street lights but the first Camper may not have seen or even heard due to the darkness and rain/storming sounds and inside veh. We also do not know where first camper parked, but logic says near the area where MB parked ... again rain...

We do not know which way MB would have driven (around front to the Covered Entrance OR down the North side and around the rear and to the Covered Entrance) Logic tells me that MB came in the drive made a Right in front of Creekside Church FRONT Entrance and then made sharp left and drove under the Covered Entrance where her truck was found. *My Reasoning... shorter distance time wise (4:16 enters parking lot, 4:18 seen on motion activated camera entering building.
*Lighting... all along Front (West) and SW side of the building and parking lot
*at 4:16 a.m it was dark and storming

From Google Street View.. Looking at the Creekside Church you can not see the North side of the building where the Suspect allegedly Busted the Metal Kitchen door, or the Kitchen window or the Rear Double Doors to the building (NE side) which also is the hallway the Kitchen / Cafe Connections is on. **JMHO NIGHT OR DAY**

Being a Monday morning, it also would not cast suspicion that someone could have left vehicle there from previous Sunday night service. Not on a storming Monday morning anyway JMHO. You would have thoughts to hurry and get under the Covered Entrance. That is another reason I firmly believe she went through those Main Doors under the COVERED AWNING where Truck parked. IF it was the FRONT of the Church Entrance then she would have just parked there. Not park at the area where she parked and walk all the way back around to the front to unload her stuff carry it around there. Even IF she only may have had a Front Entrance key as some have thought... again why would she not park there???

Also, from looking at the Google maps, there is a cut across access both directions/lanes of Hwy 287. Suspect very well could have came out North side got into vehicle, lights off drove straight up drive and out across the access and turn left (back towards the Outdoor Store) and left that way. THAT also could be where the Sureillance Video that catches MB entering the Creekside parking lot at 4:16.. also **JMHO ** could have captured the Suspect veh leaving the Creekside parking lot.

Chief Smith and Captain of CID John Spann stated they were not... That evidence enough for me.

Investigators said they think the individual used a pry bar to smash out glass and open a side door at the church.

The building did not have an alarm, and the outside surveillance cameras were not working, police Capt. John Spann said.

2) and here is link to the Press Conf . I will use the link I posted to the Media Page so wont show up and take up space. Is listed also on the MPD FB page... http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sh...eline-*NO-DISCUSSION*&p=12514028#post12514028

I don’t hear them say anything in that video, about the cameras not working. What I hear him say is "They do have a camera, but it was not functioning at the time.” I’m not trying to nitpick, but I think thats a big difference from the camera not working. The camera was not functioning at the time. Which is not a surprise, since it’s a motion activated camera, and it was dark and raining outside. Of course it wouldn’t function in those conditions. No regular camera is going to pick up anything in the dark.

Do we know how Missy was planning to get in?
Did she have a key? Did a member of the church attend camp and bring a key?
I know it seems obvious but I just wondered if this was addressed by LE and I just missed it.

I think those outdoor cameras have like the game camera's do infra red ? Or the ones some friends of mine have on their lake property. To me not functioning is not working. JMHO
