Respectfully, I don't think they have said that exactly. From the April 18th Press Conference, they chose their words carefully. JMHO
Male Reporter : did suspect stay around

Captain Spann: we believe he left shortly after the assault ... don't have any indication went into any other rooms after the assault. still piecing together the video

Female Reporter : is he seen fleeing? is he seen after the assault?

Captain Spann :again we see him walking down one of the hallways, but presumably he went out the same way came in, speculation on our part but he broke window reached in and opened the door. there are 2nd and 3rd windows broken but no evidence that anyone went through them

Wow! This part: "we see him walking down one of the hallways, but presumably he went out the same way came in" makes me think that they did get him/her on video after the murder! Thanks :)

Edit: I think that pretty much confirms that there is video from after the attack? Anyone agree/disagree?

I read somewhere that the number one marriage fights are about money. I would guess affair sorts of things and spend more time with meeeeeee would be number two.

I suspect that the one of the perp coming out of the kitchen and breaking the glass is first chronologically (even though it was released last). I'm not sure about the order of the other two...

I think it's actually drywall, not glass. Look at how it falls, you can tell that it is almost powdery. Also if he hit glass it would fall straight down or the other way. Glass doesn't fly back toward you when you hit it.

Edit: Glass can fly back toward you when you hit it, but it wouldn't at the distance/speed shown in the video.

Edit 2: Re-watched it, now not sure if it is glass or drywall. Opinions?

So, what's the motive? thanks

I hope that the dear friend of Missy spoke with investigators, even if it was a gut feeling with no solid proof or lead. JMO

I'm new here. So basically if we are a local and we know things that non locals don't we can't say anything?

If you know things about the case or people involved and can provide proof in order to back up your connection - please get verified here! :D It gives more credibility (as much as can be reasonably checked out by Tricia) and weight to information you provide.

Verified Insiders = very useful information from a unique perspective!

It was really, really early on. I still kept going back to other people and theorizing, but I couldn't help but just keep finding ways I couldn't rule her out. Some other WSers (not local) sleuthed her early, too. So when the RB blood warrants with the search came out, for me personally, I viewed it as tactic by LE. The focus stayed on family. I know there are some new people on here in the last few days who might not believe us, but I promise, we did discuss her before the search warrants were released. I don't recall any of us knowing CW or KC & wife. And then again, we could all be completely wrong!! Lol
KC and MC are the parents of MB's oldest daughters bestfriend. I don't think they have any connection in the case

If the murderer is a run of the mill fb poster, I think there are two types of those. One type is the selfie, Paris Hilton, meee, blingedy bling type. And the rest is the other type. If the murderer were the selfie type poster I think it would look real suspicious to do anything else except keep posting. Deleting oneself from fb for a selfie type poster would not be an option.

Well I recant what I said earlier. It does appear to be glass, and it appears that the suspect leans inward, like he/she is reaching in to unlock the door from the inside. Anyone else see that?

This is almost certainly safety glass in those windows. It breaks differently than regular glass. It ends up in small chunks of non-sharp pieces, and yes, it can fly toward the hitter. I really don't see any powdery substance there.

This case has generated a pretty amazing amount of misogyny, not to mention a fair share of negative male stereotypes. It's frustrating.

Par for the course with all cases and human nature :)

When exploring the possible motives for one human being murdering another, there are no pleasant theories possible.

For sure police would have long ago tapped at the T's door, like on day two, but day three for sure ???

I asked before thread 12 closed, maybe you missed it, but did the T's attend Missy's memorial that you know?

I do not know this answer 100% yet. Perhaps someone else can assist?

A first-time poster yesterday wrote about this topic & I recall they mentioned CT not attending. I've asked everyone I know about AT & no one seems to know bc of the amount of people. I think all the CGers wore matching shirts that day bc I saw pics on a few of their pages. Maybe we can look among those. Sorry I'm not much help on that one.

Do we know they haven't?

I'm beginning to think a suspect is not going to be named until there is an arrest.

LOL Be the smart thing to do. Don't remember many cases where a suspect is named out right prior to an arrest. Sure there are some ;)

I worked half the night Friday and most of the night last night trying to get a close-up of the killer's right eye. It's not very good quality but here it is. From some other screen captures I got it's obvious to me that the killer at one point after prying the door is looking directly at the surveillance camera & then he/she turns his/her head down & to the left so that the camera cannot see his/her face.

holy cow - i had no idea what that picture was until I read your post, lol!

I'm sure someone else is looking but there was a later presser where LE did in fact say that they did not see the perp after the murder. I'll try to find it but maybe the person who posted will get it quicker than I can.

Someone had mentioned earlier that the trash pickup was on the 23rd and why didn't they pick it up earlier. Trash day is once a week, normally, so that would include trash from 16th-22nd (if it was put out night before 23rd for pick-up).

Do we know they haven't?

SW states "everyone has been cooperative with the investigation." With the best of the best LE on this murder, I'm sure they did. I'm sure the NYPD 'Stingrays' checked all of us out, too! Jkjk
