There's really nothing to keep up with. I can't believe there are so many threads and so few facts! Jmo

This case is proof that human speculation can fill up a library of encyclopedias. Who needs facts when our minds are filled with theories?

I'm hopeless! I absolutely cannot keep up on this case. I have rarely seen a case fly on like this one....where thread after thread just zips by like a speeding train.

I will give you one fact: If LE doesn't hurry up and solve this thing with an arrest, I'm gonna need to go back on my nerve pills.

ILY Shef. I'm in the same boat. I gave up trying. I just read the last few pages whenever I sign on. :maddening:

I think these 3 quotes say it all, really. Mods have repeatedly encouraged us to slow things down, take a breather, stop endlessly rehashing old stuff. It becomes a vicious circle where people literally cannot keep up and then have to ask to repeat things. We've all been there!

Has anyone prepped a "fact sheet" at all? I know we have the media thread but a short summary of what we know to be true would be useful.

Peace out

Kind of ironic how the perp wore that gear head to toe to avoid identification, but it's that gear that captured the nation's attention.

I went back and looked at the Google map of the church and area surrounding it. I had only glanced at it once or twice before now. It made me realize that the killer could have easily used a cellphone/handheld GPS and walked away/ATV/dirt bike from the scene to a waiting car.

Heading West towards Walnut Creek Road would be my first choice. I can't imagine them heading North into that neighborhood, too much of a risk of being seen. East towards the airport would be my last choice, there could be security patrolling, cameras, etc.

Walnut Creek Road is 1.5 miles from the church. That’s a 30 minute walk. I think it is highly improbable that he walked away from the murder. Walking a way from a crime like that would be extremely risky. The suspect using an ATV or a dirt bike in the dark, is also highly unlikely. Any of those escape plans would likely attract the attention of arriving LEOs.

A car or a motorcycle would have been the only sure fire way for the suspect to escape before the police arrived.

I don't think at this point it matters what door who came in or what's in swatperp's hand. What should be focused on is who and why? What, when, and where come later IMO.

We've been told that there were affairs and money problems. To me, flirting over LinkedIn is not an affair. So who was cheating with who? And why are so many agencies involved over a small town murder? I don't really see these fitness instructors involved in a drug ring. If the outfit was genuine would it warrant this attention?

All jmo. I really hope someone is arrested soon.

Here is a Timeline that I put together, I tried to use only information with sources, and we can update as needed. I will add to the media thread as well.

Did they arrest anybody? I dreamt they did, but the person was still wearing the SWAT gear, so we couldn't tell who it was. Ugh.

I agree!!
But on the LI stuff, if they have the messages, they will be able to see if it is a clear affair or just flirting. The SW said intimate.
Someone said that LI was the next Ashley Madison. I'm baffled by this insight! And I thought online dating was dangerous and stupid. Who would have thought LI?!

I also do not think that it's a drug ring or a video game killing. IMO IMO IMO

Not that I'm aware of, but what's ironic is I had a similar dream - a person wearing a SWAT uniform was walking out of an abandoned house in handcuffs, lol.

Hey folks,

Thanks!

Just a couple of general comments. There may be multiple people involved (some involved a walkie-talkie type communication device was used) or at least LE has to check that even if LE is certain of who did the murder itself. Also with the tools left behind, it's not said where the tools were left. Keep in mind the tools were used as weapons and it wouldn't be unusual to find someone with a knife left stuck in them nor for instance should be unusual to find someone with a screwdriver stuck in them if the screwdriver was used like a knife, especially if the intent was desecration.

It happens, Bill! I used to dream about the Heather Elvis case all the time.

^^Thank you!!! This part still gets me a little side eyed:
CG Camper calls BB to tell him about MB BB calls MT and tells her that MB was in a car wreck
05:30 AM MT calls KS and reports that MB has been in a car wreck, asks KS to go to Bever household to be with MB’s kids (source)
MPD call BB to tell him that MB has passed

This is what he was talking about. I had wondered if maybe the push part of the door that was busted. The outter Kitchen Metal Door View attachment 94109

I don't see anything broken on the interior push bar.

IMO, the item in the killer's left hand is yet to be identified. It's not the door mechanism nor a box of Saran Wrap.

Using networks such as LinkedIn would make affairs more secret. The other adult dating websites is too obvious for spouses to look at. Someone mentioned before that ppl even use games on fb like words for friends to communicating with a lover.....

From thread #1 I stated it was a personal killing from someone that was obsessed with Missy.

We still don't know what the motive was in this case, and I've been quietly reading what everyone has to say. Gee, I'm at a loss, I haven't been able to form a definite opinion on anything in this case as yet.

Good for you!

Where has KS been? Last I heard from her was an odd news conference on one of the local DFW news where she said "paraphrasing here-- about the perp(s) enjoying this beautiful day probably sitting on a patio drinking a margarita".....seemed like an odd remark. Why wouldn't her phone records be included in warrant(s) if she was called at 5:30 or so?

Good Morning all!

Looking for an update, busy weekend! Istiff~~~ any cliffnotes again?? TIA

I was reading early in the thread someone posted something about the 40 second mark so I was looking at the video of about that time. I think I may have an answer to the did the perp have a flashlight or not....

In the screen shot, you can see the perp has a black flashlight up near their ear or mounted on the helmet, similar to the one here. So, I do believe the reflections of light are correct and are seen in some of the video. Could the perp have been taking it off the helmet and putting it back on in some scenes? I believe so.
