She was well loved within her circles

... and described as really nice and almost too nice. The impression I'm getting is she really was a lovely human being- with faults yes, but a kind and nice woman.

This keeps getting brought up (that LE referenced a female with a limp) .. just to clarify, LE has NEVER stated this. The only affiliation between CT and LE is the fact that she's in one of the warrants. Other than that, LE has never mentioned her as either a POI or suspect, or even that they are looking for a woman with a limp.

Tricia (the owner of Websleuths) provided this information in one of the previous threads. She said she was making an exception to the rule that a link was needed to support her information because two local media sources gave her this information first hand. My understanding is that her media sources told her the information was provided to them by LE.
I thought that Tricia's media sources mention a white women who had previously broken a foot. I don't recall a limp being mentioned although that could be implied.

Is there an easier way to subscribe to a thread in Tapatalk without having to make someone waste their time reading my post that adds no value?

Sorry I dont use my cell I am on laptop ;(

Maybe they have given dogs MB's scent and are trying to track down the uniform that way. I don't see why LE should have to announce it is doing that.

That is why there are no links to that info that Tricia provided, because it was told to her.

I wonder why there aren't any MSM articles or links for this specific info.

Surely it is not a secret, as Tricia put it on WS.

IMOO.

There is a bloodied police uniform out there somewhere.

If it's covered in blood it will be very foul smelling. An unmistakable odor.

Maybe uniform is at the bottom of a pond.

I don't recall if limping was mentioned, either, and I don't know how to bring the post over to this thread. I think you are correct that she said Caucasian woman with a broken right foot.

I will say again- there are at least two in the affidavits in support of SW.
I'm in no rush to judgment. Like anyone who has ever worked with law enforcement, there are always obvious suspects to be ruled out when a married. woman is murdered. Especially when there are accusations of infidelities and financial difficulties.
If you don't think it's obvious, perhaps you just don't want to.
As I said, I am not saying he did it. I am saying that I keep going back to the obvious.
I've read quite a bit of negative discussion about a dead woman and her supposed multiple affairs and another woman who we have absolutely no evidence WHATSOEVER had any motive (we have no evidence that her husband had anything other than a working friendship with MB).
Yet nobody wants to discuss the only person with whom we KNOW MB had a troubled relationship.
Missy's family's silence is very important to me. They matter. Her children matter.
I'm gonna take a break from this until something new happens.

This. Missy's family's silence is deafening. To me that says everything.

I probably shouldn't have used the word limp ... It was something more like you said.

For the record, I have never thought the murderer was on the warrant lists.

I believe he is local, someone not yet mentioned publicly, and is not in anyone's radar (except LE's...and maybe a tipster or two).

Agree. Although this does not eliminate accomplices or co-conspirators featuring on SW's. Not saying anyone currently known, IS a co-conspirator; simply saying no-one has been officially ruled out.

Seems there must be a misunderstanding, then. Because if LE actually WERE looking for a Caucasian woman with a limp, why would they only tell those 2 reporters? Since they've been seeking the public's help in identifying swatperp, wouldn't they hold a press conference and alert the public that they'd narrowed the description down?
In my experience that's not usually how it works. Those reporters most likely have inside sources. Sources that they would get information from and tell a crime sleuthing website owner but never reveal or give away.

Most good reporters have inside sources at all levels of their local government- often times they have gone to school or college with these individuals even growing up in the same neighborhoods, attending the same churches or possibly even extended family- especially in small towns.

See...I think that's a more normal reaction than B's family. They are mourning.

I guess LE may have asked the media people to not publish this information but forgot to say don't tell anyone else. JMO

Websleuths has a very good reputation among LE and the media but it is not MSM. Which is why certain info may be given to Trisha or sleuthers during interviews, exactly because it will not be widely disseminated. I have seen this personally, firsthand over the years posting here. It makes me very proud to be a member here.

Yes, I have thought about where it could be. Someone mentioned there is some body of water near by? Is that being searched? Would it not be easy to put the thing in a trash bag and throw it in a dumpster? How would they ever find it unless they went through all recent additions to the landfill?I doubt it got to the perp's home.

I mentioned the Soil Conservation Service Site 2a Reservoir just north of the church yesterday (Thread 13, p44). Haven't heard from any locals, yet, about water searches.

You make it seem like there could only be one reason that they are silent.

Well, what is it?

I think that people and situations like this likely raise all sorts of complex thoughts and emotions. To presume that there is a singular reason why they are silent is, to me, nothing less than tunnel vision fed by confirmation bias.

This case drives me crazy.
So they get all dressed up in police gear, but hope to find a weapon on scene? Or...all dressed up and padded, and bringing a hammer? Or...I'm gonna casually open doors and look for recording devices but I'm going to look straight into the hallway camera a few times.
Its all so weird.

I know. The more I find out the less I know.

I agree...I think her family is in complete and total shock and trying to keep their distance to try and process this information. I just don't understand not at least releasing a "family statement", basically saying, "we love our daughter, and grandchildren and we are using this time to grieve."

This case drives me insane...please let their be an arrest soon.
