I may be seeing things, but that looks like a AAA (Triple A) sticker - size and everything.
I'll try to upload.

I don't see a front plate. Only the sticker looking thing. TX veh have a front and rear plate. But in Arkansas for instance we only have the rear plate. Possible could have been someone traveling through and due to the storm pulled over. I know I have traveled 35E many times and pulled off for gas/potty break at Midlothian. But where I stop its off then right back on.
I also don’t understand how BB could say that Missy wasn’t targeted (in the beginning), when he had only seen the 7 second video, and when he himself said that he warned Missy about the early classes and about being careful only weeks prior to her murder…just my opinion.
In the previous thread, someone posted an enhanced photo:

Sure looks like the CO sticker to me.
RBB : how do we know it's about jealousy ? tia
Hi everyone. The "wasted man hours" were from a FB group determined that a certain gentleman was involved. He was never discussed here on WS one single time. Good job to everyone at WS, whom I believe truly wants justice for Missy.
Some people other places want to spend their time discrediting those who are asked their opinions on cases. If the person that's interviewed seems too young or the wrong gender, they want to discount and bully them immediately. They forget that person might really come with a certain background, expertise and supreme relationships that guided them on other investigations. The person certainly doesn't know it all, but they've made key breaks on other cases & are explaining it from their eyes, within legal perimeters. Since LE does not have a suspect, technically no one knows it all just yet. It's up to each of us to decide who or what we believe. I share this with heartfelt sincerity: we can solve this for Missy. We may not agree on everything...or most things...or anything (lol)...but the ability to do it together and consider possibilities makes us that much stronger. I choose to be cautious with everything, but not cynical of all things. I believe in LE still and continually pray for the family and all those working to find justice for Missy.
Today's presser was brilliantly executed. Someone else mentioned it as well on here and I can't agree more.
P.S. 5'4 1/2 - 5'5 is my target height. I'll mortgage my house if I'm wrong. Lol
TRANSCRIPT OF EXACTLY WHAT LE SAID TODAY ABOUT THE CAR AND OUTDOOR CAMS. It looks to me like there is a lot of confusion or misunderstanding about what was said about this stuff. So a reminder of what exactly was said.
CHIEF'S STATEMENT - PORTION ABOUT THE SWFA CAR
"Part of our initial investigation involved canvassing residential and commercial camera systems for any activity in the vicinity of the murder prior to. Several leads were generated through this effort. All but one of those leads have been exhausted.
The last remaining lead involves a car that pulls into the SWFA sporting goods parking lot at approximately 2 am. They're seen pulling into the parking lot and leaving just a few minutes later.
We believe that car is a 2010 to 2012 Nissan Altima. It's light in color, possibly silver. (It's hard to tell - you remember it was raining that morning.)
Let me emphasize, though, we don't have any reason whatsover to believe that this car or its driver are in any way involved with the murder of Missy Bevers. In the interest of following up on every possible lead, this is the last lead that hasn't been exhausted from that video canvassing. We'd like to talk to the driver of that car and they can contact us at our established tipline or our non-emergency number.
But again, we don't believe this is the vehicle of the killer. We don't believe that there's necessarily any connection to the offenses. It's well over an hour before the killer is believed to have come onto the scene at the church, and it's arguable how visible the church may have been seen from that business on the morning when it was raining.
It's simply just an unfinished lead that we'd like to talk to that person and see if they have anything to add to the investigation."
FROM Q&A THAT FOLLOWED LATER:
Q: To be clear on the car, did it pull into SWFA's parking lot, or the church's parking lot?
Chief: "It pulled into SWFA's parking lot, and pulled out a few minutes later. Back onto 287."
Q: Do you have any detailed information that you can give us, chief, about this vehicle that pulled in, any other ...?
Chief: "No. There's a very sophisticated camera system at that store, but unfortunately due to the rain it really obscured the details that you would normally see when cars pulled into the driveway."
Chief (to a later question about the church's camera setup): "...Exterior cameras worked on an intermittent basis. So they were experiencing just some malfunctions.
We had video during previous times of exterior footage but on the day of the murder we don't have exterior footage from the cameras outside ...."
Q: Have you been able to determine if those cameras outside the church were corrupted in some kind of way?
Chief: "We don't believe they were. We believe it was just they (trails off, inaudible) - They were aware of the malfunction prior to the murder."
I don't see a front plate. Only the sticker looking thing. TX veh have a front and rear plate. But in Arkansas for instance we only have the rear plate. I can not think of any other reason to bludgeon an unarmed little female fitness instructor to death.
Is Texas a Two-Plate State? The Answer to Whether You Need a Front and Rear License Plate in Texas
[...]
Effective September 1, 2013, Section 504.943 of the Texas Transportation Code entitled, Operation of a Vehicle Without License Plate, was amended to provide punishment for not displaying a front license plate. It is now an offense to operate a vehicle that does not display two licenses plates, and the punishment for failure to have both license plates is a fine of up to $200.

(In California both are required. There is a grace period if you've just purchased the vehicle, but you have to have a sticker that is placed on the interior in the bottom right windshield)

Why even talk about front plates when only the rear of the car is shown?
Am I allowed to post screenshots from the Midlothian PD FB page?
No, link it and direct the poster to the post. Thanks!
