Did Kouri not sit down and talk with Eric about her debt?

We all know the answer.

I wonder if he knew ANYTHING AT ALL about her debts? Didn't he get alerted that she was changing the beneficiary of life insurance? Or is that me re-remembering it wrong?

Not likely as she was forging his sig and buying insurance policy’s on him

Be honest... has anyone here forged their spouse's signature?... even if for non-consequential efficiency? I think most have it could be something simple like both parents signing a child's report card or a time share weekly booking request.

I could do it fairly well I think... but a real expert (like I know a forensic hand writing expert) would spot my errors.

My spouse had his son, my stepson gorge mine for a heloc pre divorce

I could also very successfully forge his

Had friends/clients out of the country who needed a check signed to mail to his brother, easy peasy & off in the mail

The whole life insurance shenanigans makes me think that one should require marital consent, including notarized signatures, to taking out a policy on one's spouse.

Question: in the hours bracketing ER's  murder, was KP hopping around the house hiding Easter gummies everywhere? And when I say "hiding", I mean "arranging them to stick out like neon signs"?

Are we supposed to believe that, with three littles in the house, whom he adored, he left gummies everywhere?

Not credible.

What is credible is that, from the first moment on 911, KR was setting the stage, conflating innocent gummy use with illicit drug use in order for ER to be the cause of his own death.

And stretching an old prescription for pain killers into a full-blown addiction to street drugs, kept bedside.

No evidence of any kind to support that.

ER's life was in order, his health was in order, his finances in order, his activities with work and his sons, in order.

Meanwhile motive was veritable oozing from KR's pores.

How do you think the Quetiapine got into his system? I have no idea yet myself. I'm still catching up on the earlier threads too.

Was that her medication? I'm drawing a blank. Does she have a diagnosis?

Has anyone looked up these meds? Was she swapping his Rx out for hers? Stockpiling his?

From what I read, it was her medication. It's in the last sentence of this article. Richins trial: First responders, medical examiner testify on 2nd day of murder trial - East Idaho News

I had to look it up and see what it was-it's also known as Seroquel. I haven't saw a diagnosis for why she was taking it. EDIT-I'm still catching up but in the #2 thread, it's mentioned that she said she was taking it as a sleep aid.

Quetiapine Tablets. Quetiapine is an antipsychotic medication that treats several kinds of mental health conditions including schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. It balances the levels of dopamine and serotonin in your brain. These hormones help regulate your mood, behaviors and thoughts.
Quetiapine (Seroquel): Uses & Side Effects

um, and some of the possible side effects are:
Heart rhythm changes—fast or irregular heartbeat, dizziness, feeling faint or lightheaded, chest pain, trouble breathing
High blood sugar (hyperglycemia)—increased thirst or amount of urine, unusual weakness or fatigue, blurry vision

He had complained of chest pains per KR the evening before bed. Also didn't the ME say something about him having elevated blood sugar?

It's also used off label for anxiety in much lower doses. My GP prescribed it for me for this years ago. It didn't work for me, but it does for some people, apparently.

Quetiapine isn’t that the generic form of seroquel

I just Googled it and it said that it is. EDIT-I wonder if that makes a difference between generic and name brand. I know in some medications, people can react differently to name brand versus generic.

Yes and its side effects is drowsiness. Doctors prescribe it in low doses for sleep

I believe it can also be prescribed for adults for night terrors. It can actually CAUSE them in some people, but I think that it's what my sister-in-law found relief with when she'd had no success with other medications. She also found her best results with an antidepressant that was absolutely the worst I've ever been on for me, proving that everyone is truly different in their brain chemistry.

Man, I agree. She is a bad actor. The details she spoke of sounded forced and awkwardly delivered. geez

I wouldn't be any better at acting than her....but then again, I am not going to plan to kill my spouse and thnk that I could possibly get away with it.

She didn’t realize that you can’t fake cry for several minutes. Her interview is very incriminating.

She had to cover her face because she was too self-conscious. She kept just opening her face to whine then covering her face again. Shaking her legs. Then finally she gets up and moves around. I bet she didn't expect the cops would be hanging around for so long. Then Katie shows up. She follows her around and kind of emulates her. Then you have her mother just hovering around making inane comments of her own. It was all so creepy and awkward.

I’m confused why he stayed with her after he suspected she tried to poison him with the sandwich. He also knew she was financially defrauding him. I’m not blaming the victim-I’m genuinely baffled. He spoke with a divorce attorney but changed his mind. He disinherited her from his assets, essentially.

I can’t make sense of it. Even if he felt he should stay for the boys, my god! At what cost??

Dr Patrice Berry on her youtube podcast addressed this, saying there are various reasons for staying. She is a Psychologist in VA, and has very good instincts, as well as experience.
