Something that surprised me was that BB was wearing MB's wedding ring on a chain around his neck at the memorial for MB. I was surprised because it had been returned to BB already when I had expected that everything on her person was still bagged in evidence until all forensic testing could be completed. For instance, MB could have backhanded at SP's upper face and scratched him with the ring, or reached at his neck or wrist and skin cells may have transferred, or fibers from anywhere on SP's outfit. Sure, clear the truck and return that; but I would have thought everything with the body would still be in evidence for a long time.

This statement is NOT a criticism of Midlothian LE. It is simply an observation. I do not think Midlothian LE expected a crime of this magnitude in their wildest dreams & rightfully so. Why would they since there hadn't been a murder there in years? I do think that they made some critical mistakes by not securing the scene & body evidence for longer, but who can blame them? Not me!! Midlothian isn't in the same category as Chicago. LE was probably in shock along with everyone else.

Locals stated that it "had been raining". (I don't know, for how many days before that, though. The amount of time wasn't stated, that I saw.)

It was stated: "Because of the rain, Terri had decided to hold the class inside."
(It wasn't stated, when - exactly - she first decided that.) (The night before? The day before?)

Did she put that on her Facebook page? (about her deciding that. If so, what day/time, did she post that?)

(All I have seen is: her "last posting" on Facebook. (posted a little after 9:00 p.m.)

I don't think that post was discrediting MPD if it's the one I'm thinking of. Sounded more like kudos to me.

Also, AT, to whom the poster is continually referring, is an african american male. Not sure of his height, but as LE said, no one on the target number list is at this time a POI or a suspect. Haven't seen the gait. JMO

Not him buddy. The other T on the list. Motive is there. The means are apparently there. The height is right there. The shoes that are too big and don't fit. Wouldn't want to get arrested in front of your children would you? No one on that list is ruled out but rather open to further investigation. The gait I'm not sure of id have to see her move around. Oh and the police have in a round about way IMO ruled out a man, so has the family in their opinion. Why would the family feel that way? They are being shown/coached/advised by the investigators who want to help them get closure and solve this. None of which IMO seems far fetched in the slightest.

I haven't in any way taken what LE has said as they have ruled out a man. I actually think the comment stepping back to say it could be a woman was just make sure they didn't influence the public coming to them with any tips and because they want to make sure when they go trial the defenders can't say they came out of the gate saying "man" and never appropriately looked at other options.

For clarity's sake, are you saying that AT is an accused adulterer? Accused by who? I have not seen that stated anywhere, from what I can remember.

I am glad you asked, because I have seen posts here stating CT had motive because of a supposed relationship between MB and AT, but I have never seen anything to substantiate that claim. Has that claim of an improper relationship between them been validated somewhere I missed? It seems very random to assign that motive to CT if that is purely conjecture.

I like this post, even though I have believed targeted from day one. I am considering interrupted robbery because one thing has always bothered me. Every time I read of it being so well planned I wonder how that could be not knowing until that morning it was going to rain and cause the class to be inside.

Legal disclaimer: The following is just my opinion and for entertainment purposes:
In my experience churches that get burglarized are often on Sunday or Wednesday nights. The perp is hoping the money will still be there, in a safe, until it's taken to a bank on Monday. The SP would have no idea that a fitness class would be there at 5am in the morning. The only research the perps would do is to look at the location, drive to the church at night, check to see if it has an alarm system and then break in. The perps know security cameras will be likely and as long as they disguise themselves well, LE won't spend a lot of effort trying to find out who it is. IMO the tactical vest and clothes helps to disguise the build of the SP.

I don't have a source, but I have seen it mentioned over and over that MB and AT were intimate (or at the very east flirtatious). It is possible that I am just reposting what I have seen written here. If the statements about MB and AT are true, that would provide a very clear motive.

On top of that, AT has a self-defense background. He apparently has access to swat-style apparel, and he would likely have taught CT how to defend herself. Above all, both AT and CT were named in the SW. MB has clearly been in contact with more than 10 people over her final days so what makes these people interesting to LE? Also, it was CT herself that stated that their trash had been stolen. That certainly has all of the markings of person LE is interested in.

With that said, it's all circumstantial, but I can certainly understand why people think she may be the person responsible for MB's murder.

I had a similar experience the other night. I was on AT's instagram page, and I came across a group shot. There was nothing particularly interesting about the picture, but I gasped and said, "That looks just like SP." There was something about the shape of the body and the way the arms were positioned that reminded me of SP. Upon seeing the same picture on FB (with the person tagged), I realized that the person I thought looked like SP was actually CT. Of course, one's intuition doesn't make another person guilty.

Legal disclaimer: The following is just my opinion and for entertainment purposes:
I've been involved with LE for over 17 years with the last 9 specifically in burglary and violent crimes. I've seen hundreds of videos where a perp has broken into a building (commercial, school, church, etc) with some type of disguise. They've worn everything from ninja outfits, tactical gear to mascot uniforms. I seen the exact type of nonchalant, slow and easy walk that the SP in the video is showing especially when breaking into churches, schools or buildings that are not frequented at night ANDthey know a security system which alerts police is not in place. In these types of burglaries the perp may be in the habitation for hours. IMO this isn't a staged burglary to cover up a pre-meditated murder. I know a lot of people are stuck on the fact that the SP didn't take the wedding ring. It's because the SP was in a frantic state after the altercation and wanted to get out quick. If this had been a pre-meditated murder the last thing a perp would do is be caught on camera and would've certainly chosen a much easier path. The SP also knows that they are on camera because they looked right at the camera. Simply put, the SP didn't go to the church with the intention to commit murder.

Of course, this is all just my opinion based on years of experience. As mentioned previously, I've seen the behavior the SP displays many, many times in burglary videos. The SP is very comfortable being in a building that they burglarized and I'm very sure this person has been doing this for a long time.

are you familiar with the Stephanie Lazarus case? (I would imagine that you are.) She was a cop (with LAPD).
She killed (her boyfriend/now ex-boyfriend's new wife) Sherri Rasmussen.

She "staged" the scene,
to try to make it look like, a "burglary"
(gone wrong).

a "piece of furniture was put by (moved, to) the back door",
to try to make it look like, this occurred during a "burglary".
(Trying to make it 'look like',
the victim "walked in" to, a burglary, in process.)

I doubt the perp in the Terri Bevers case was a, cop.
But here is my question: "If" that had been the case,
couldn't it be possible that the perp was "familiar" with, what a "burglary" usually "looks like".

As far as I am aware, nothing was "moved to/left by, the back door" (either on the inside>by the back door or the outside>by the back door)

(so, "if" their plan included, that they were going to try to make it look like,

(It seems that)
either they "blew it"

(or, that wasn't part of the "plan".)
If that wasn't part of the "plan",

could they possibly have "Staged" it to "look like", something?

(If so, what. ???)

Other than possibly:
The person knew her.
They are trying to make it "look like", they didn't.
(If that is the case, they possibly "blew it".)

4/8/16 AT posted on his FB (which is not private) that he + 9 others (including Missy Bevers) were doing a 5am bootcamp and taking a tour of Midlothian in the process. He said they first visited with some firefighters. I think this is probably where the Fire Dept rumor may have originated. But I'm not absolutely certain.
