On 5/10/2016 (22 days after the murder): MT told People: "But Tucker has mixed feelings about Camp Gladiator, noting that she doesn't even like to say the name. Asked why, she replies, "I guess because it took so much of her life, and then it took her life.""

Then on 5/20/2016 (32 days after the murder): CT the DC, who is MT's son, participates in an event with CG trainers also invited to participate, a well as people from Anytime Fitness.

Do we know if MT attended this event? MT doesn't even like to say the name CG because it took MB's life, then there is this event with a flyer. Is this overanalysis, or does something not ring true?

Still, what she said was, "The morning before we knew anything had happened". IMO that is the morning of the murder. If it was the day before you would say "the morning before it happened", not "the morning before we knew". That is saying, it had happened but we didn't know yet.

Well, since BB was supposedly awakened by the camp participant calling him, it seems unlikely he had been speaking to his mother already about how he'd warned Missy to be careful.

And if he had been talking to his mom, then he was lying about being awakened by the camper.

How did I miss this in the cell phone warrant? That was no flashlight!,

Based upon the facts and circumstances surrounding this crime of murder as presentlyknown by the Affiant, and in conjunction with the Affiants training and experiences in lawenforcement, crimes against persons, and criminal activity, Affiant believes and chargesthat at the time of the commission of the offense of murder that the unknown suspect wasin possession of a cell phone for the following purposes, without limitation: (i) confirmingthrough public social media sites and/or applications the updated workout times andlocations as posted by Ms. Bevers; (ii) communicating
in the nature of calls, messages, texting, emails, data, push-to-talk, and walky-talky; (iii) using smart phone capabilities tophotograph, record, and/or video the victim and the murderous act; and (iv) usingfunctional applications and tools such as map locator applications, clock or timingcapabilities, GPS locating applications, and flashlight.

Or a walkie talkie..Which would suggest SP as having a partner - which I don't subscribe to ATM..but seeing that was an eye opener.

iPhones have an app that allows users to locate other users "friends" and users have the ability to control who is allowed to locate them. I'm not sure why so many people leave everything wide open to others, but many people do. The app is called "find my friends". Here's a link if anybody wants to see how it works. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201493
This could have been an app that was used. There are more apps that could have been used as well, but this one stands out for me because of it's popularity and it's not a third party app.

BBM It was the daughter that was injured, not CT. I missed the details of CT injuring foot. Can you elaborate please.

No. It has already been corrected in the threads.
CT may have had foot surgery; however, that may have been confused with the injury another person sustained from falling from the balcony. Don't care enough about the particular subject of a possible foot surgery to research it.

The other brother organized the event. Don't have a link and will not search for one. Consider it mho afaic.

I think you all have done a great job on the floorplans and cameras. The most injurious things to security at the CoC are the fact that a murder occurred there, LE put out that the exterior cameras were only working intermittently or not at all, the cameras as shown on MPD released videos might be a tad inadequate and need upgrading, and that LE put out that they do not have an alarm system/permit that connects to LE. All of these problems are not created by WS'ers and can be remedied by CoC.

There are many reasons to explore the floorplan and cameras:

-was this a burglary for theft gone wrong?
-was this a vandalism?
-was this a staged burglary?
-why didn't SP take anything - was SP unable to locate something?
-if there is anything of value to take, where in the building is it? (like AV equipment, or the office)
-why did SP seem to have so much trouble with entry if he is a burglar?
-how much knowledge did SP have of the CoC floorplan? of the cameras and alarms?
-why is SP so confident that they are unconcerned about being seen on the cameras?
-where was SP, what was SP doing, where did SP lie in wait or encounter MB?
-where was MB going after she went inside?
-where was MB body located?
-why didn't the cameras capture the struggle? Did SP care if the cameras captured or not?
-why didn't MB see the interior damage or opened doors when she entered?
-how did SP escape?

You know I like lists LOL, there are too many points to count on this one. Suffice it to say that an exploration of the interior of the building does yield clues to the crime in terms of SP behaviors and possible motives, as well as the encounter with victim.

bbm

Why didn't she see lighting already from outside and then at the latest inside?

I think, since I've been out of the loop for a while, it's time for another Quick Poll! I want to gauge what people's thoughts are 10 weeks on. Personally, I now think the police don't know who killed Missy. I just can't believe they'd let a killer walk about freely for this long, but maybe I've missed something. Here goes:

QUICK POLL

Thank this post if you believe the police know exactly who did this, are biding their time and building a watertight case, while permanently watching their POI to make sure they don't run away or kill anyone else.

Thank this post if you believe the police really have no idea whodunnit and are clutching at straws trying to find out.

Maybe they only placed cameras near rooms where there was something to steal. With that on mind the cameras may have been perfectly sufficient.

Typically churches will use a camera system to identify threats during services. Burglary/theft is a lesser priority for them than someone coming in packing in order to shoot an estranged wife. Women at risk of domestic violence who are trying to get away from an abuser have a couple of places where they are most at risk - at the school where they pick up/drop off their kids every day, and at church services. It puts them at a given place at a given time and makes them a target.

Now with that said, Creekside IS in a pretty isolated location, so burglary might have been a concern to them.

I hadn't heard it either. I'm quite sure another sleuther posted the definition a while ago but here we go:

Agape love (Ancient Greek: ἀγάπη, agápē) is "love: the highest form of love, charity; the love of God for man and of man for God." Not to be confused with "philēo" - brotherly love - agápē embraces a universal, unconditional love that transcends, that serves regardless of circumstances.

ETA: sorry sandy.....I was typing at the same time as you!

Yep, I've always heard of three Greek words for love - the two you mentioned, and then eros which is romantic love for another.

Do I recall correctly that they said they believe missy was in contact with the killer? I believe they said that in the search warrant. This seems to be a huge detail to me. Would PROBABLY eliminate the robbery idea. Would PROBABLY eliminate a random contract killer. Would PROBABLY eliminate a young "joy kill." But you would think this would PROBABLY lead them down a very narrow path.
I emphasize the word probably because this is just my opinion and I know there are twisted possibilities that go against this. Just seems we continue to steer further and further away when it seems that the killer may have been very familiar with her.
My guess is that they have this very narrowed down and they are just looking for that ah-ha connection that links this person to the crime scene.
My opinion

BBM That was what they thought early on. Who knows if it's what they still think? The last we heard on 5/20, they are "not committed to any one theory."

And while I think that they did believe she had been in contact with her killer based on the family's strong opinion about who might have done it, putting it in the SW request was a strategic move to bolster their case to the judge.

Remember also that the SIL said in an interview that the family at first thought they knew who the killer was, then it turned out not to be the case.

Agree fully. Since we don't know what we don't know, diagramming the crime scene is important because who knows what clues it might yield? But if we don't explore it all, it will definitely yield nothing. I don't think the church minds us discussing camera placement, because I would bet you that after April 18, they changed their system anyway. As for where hallways and classrooms and doors are, those are not exactly issues of national security. Anyone can walk in to the church and find that out for themselves, so discussing it here doesn't harm anyone.

I'd like to believe LE has a suspect. But given they have publicly stated they don't even know the person's gender, I wonder. LE doesn't always provide a clear picture of what they think or have so that could be a tactic and I hope that is the case here.

Clueless they are, not that it's their fault, just that it appears to be a perfect murder at this point. jmo

I believe they have a suspect in mind - that the evidence is in the cell phone records and the money trail. FBI has excellent trackers for this. This unfortunately takes time.

QUICK POLL: Opinion...
I can't agree with either of the above conclusions... they're too restrictive and/or too "either-or." I would guess that LE is narrowing down on and has settled on 2 to 3 likely suspects. All with motive and all good possibilities. So LE must continue investigating (mostly technological information from phone, email, social media, etc...) and are waiting on some additional evidence sent out for analysis to become available to them to add to the mix. I believe this murder will be solved.
Although I've used a "factual statement" mode here... everything I've written here is jmo... ALL my opinion only.

You are so right - thanks for catching it. Very confusing that it came up for me in a Google search with yesterday's date on it. Tragic that two lives were lost, and the vehicle they were trying to recover was burned up, when the stolen van had a GPS tracker on it.

http://www.wfaa.com/news/local/texa...olice-chase-policy-after-son-killed/216871436

yes very sad. Someone the other day posted about SWFA videos so I went and viewed them. They have the video of the van going the wrong way and since I live here I know that it was about 5 seconds later that the young man was hit. I hope his family didn't see it. It does not show the accident but the speed he was going is gut wrenching knowing what happened.
