I have spent time mapping the church. One of the things I haven't done is much work with the car port to see what angles the headlights would have to that glass. It is possible that they could be seen. Her truck was parked facing west and I don't know if where she had entered to go under the car port (it is a little east of the entry way to those vestibule doors) - she would be briefly turning toward the north and then on to the west. But only if she went around the front of the church and made the immediate first left and then the hard left into the car port. If she instead went a little further beyond that first left and made a wider turn in the parking lot before entering the car port she would be pointed north or toward the direction of the vestibule (there are posts and bushes on the island on the far end of the car port). So, that might still be the best bet. If she went around the back of the building and pulled into the car port (making a right) the headlights might not have the angles to get to the vestibule area.I definitely think there is a good chance the SWFA camera that recorded the Altima would have seen MB's headlights as she passed (assuming she came from that direction). I haven't ever mapped where she lived in relation to Creekside. I think it is also very possible the camera in the SW corner could have recorded her headlights pulling in under the PC. If not enough to trigger recording, there is enough glass in that area that the reflection would have been recorded if SP's movement already had them recording.
Does anyone know if that black area by the wheel chair is the actual outer door? If so, her headlights could have possibly even caused enough motion to start the camera recording.![]()
The entry way from the edge of the building (from the outside) to the outer doors of the vestibule - just through the doors in your image but can't be seen - is 21 feet deep.
As for whether you can see the next set of doors, there is 5 feet of space between the doors you see in your image and the next set of doors so maybe part of the outer glass can be seen. That glass would be to the right of those outer doors if you were facing those doors. The angles from that camera can't see the outer doors.
