im only half way in and i am just about SCREAMING - i do Statement analysis

*sits on hands*

BB: "That was in the early stage of the Game"

game? A murder?????

this case is SOLVED jmo

That caught me the wrong way when I heard it too. I like to give benefit of the doubt when people are in the various stages of a horrible aftermath, stuff just comes out of your mouth. But game is weird, how about investigation, process, etc. but game?

I'm sorry. Everyone said it was a twitter pic. But i didn't know if the pic had been verified by the mainstream news sites.

So if fox is saying that this blown up pic is the perp. Then we should be able to bring that fox pic here and discuss. Jmo.

I would think so...but since I haven't see the specific article and/or pic you're talking about (eg. is FOX talking about a photoshopped Twitter picture??) I can't know for sure if it's ok by the mods.

But they would know. :)

If they walked in to the church in the pouring rain, wouldn't they be wet in the video? This is what I can't figure out. I had thought they hiked in too but then there would be wetness on the gear. So did they bring their gear in a bag and then dress in the church? How did they keep the gear dry? I'm at a loss.

maybe they just bought an umbrella. or a towel. Do we even know if it was raining at 3.50am?

He/she/they had a half hour to wait. Plenty of time to dry off any visible water.

JMO

OM, is your outdoor camera affected by bad weather? I'm wondering if the exterior cameras were not reliable because of the heavy rain, wind and lightning. Or perhaps fogged up with humidity.

We had a local case when, during a bad storm, the sheriff had so many false alarm calls that owners were turning off their alarms to save the sheriff the trouble of checking. Sure enough, there was a break in at one place. Although they were caught on the inside cameras, they were able to rob and leave before detection.

Since I live in a state that experiences alot of rain , its not affected by weather because my husband bought one that can stand up to the excessive rainy weather we have. Realizing that at the time of the murder, there were heavy thunderstorms so there could be potential problems with bad storms

That would mean they are bring with them all sorts of extra stuff. They already had a bunch of tools, all that gear, and now umbrella and/or towels? If it's raining that hard, they would still be wet, even with an umbrella. Sorry if I'm beating dead horse but this seems important and would seriously narrow the field of who and how they did this crime.

I thought from the beginning the Costumes were designed to Terrorise as well as Hide.

Whoever it was wanted Missy to be FRIGHTENED while they killed her.

It may also have been that they could approach her without alerting her to who they were, immediately.

If you are rushed by a figure in SWAT gear you wouldn't even know what or who hit you.

Also means the figure is unlikely to be harmed in any way. If they had a knife or gun on her, and were fully armoured up themselves, no DNA would be exchanged.

this killer would have arrived already in costume. IMHO.

What are you referring to?

There was video that had a picture of a parking lot with a time stamp typed in of 5:00 AM that a poster thought it might be from that morning at 5:00. We also pointed out that the video had broken glass on a wood floor that probably was not from this crime scene. Nothing there, best to move on from it.

Glad to have you back, I guess I probably walked a thin line at times from having my own vacation.

those tiny gym towels are very absorbent. Im looking for someone with a Military or LE Background who knows how to pack a kit.

all it takes is a backpack.

PLANNING is the Hallmark of this crime IMO. Military style. Or wannabe military.

Lol. It's a beautiful Friday in California. So the mods may be out and about. Lol.

Who knows. But if I were a mod while hanging with friends on a Friday; I may not think about handing out time outs. Lol

But if I came back on Sunday and seen that folks went way overboard. Then who knows.

Hello. It is Bill Carson back from a 72-hour moderator-imposed vacation. (Don't ask me what I did to get sent to the penalty box because I don't know and they won't tell me. I'm sure it was well-deserved.)

I see that you peeps didn't solve the crime without me. Pitty that.

Glad you're back, Bill! You better behave!:cheer:

All I know is that this case is going to drive me to drink pretty soon. :drink:

I keep telling myself to stay away for a while and come back when there's news but I can't help checking in here over and over again.

LE is being quiet for a reason....I just know it.

We don't need new press releases. We have many finding old clips claiming something new about them. Too bad we couldn't have a WIKI stating the latest. For example, the husband now believes she was targeted. At first he thought it was an interrupted robbery. Then we spend many comments disputing the finds as old or incorrect.

The only latest I got from today was the gun shop down the road showed when Missy arrived and possible still of photo of where the eyes may have been seen. Also I now believe from another still that there was a head light on the perp.

I still haven't been able to see a head light; I see flashes, but they appear to me to be reflections on the shiny helmet. The perp definitely turned all of the lights on b/c you can see the lights reflected very brightly on the floor; and I think that's what I'm seeing on the helmet.

A friend of mine told me that MB had been going business to business passing out flyers the week before she was murdered. The poi might not even be from Midlothian but neighboring towns. I know she was from Red Oak and not Midlo but I'm sure she also passed out flyers in all of those neighboring towns, so maybe that's why it's also taking a while to find the poi if it's not a family member or close person in her circle from Midlothian?

I thought Missy was at a fitness conference in Austin the week before? That's what she had written about on her Facebook page.

Unless this was an expensive shirt, I can't see anybody taking a shirt with blood from a dog on it to a cleaners, I would just throw it out!

Look, these people came in from out of town. They had to pack in a hurry. They probably didn't bring many clothes. Because they just experienced a death in the family, they would need to wear nicer clothes, and they may not have brought a shirt for every day of the week. So I can certainly understand why you would take your nice shirt to the cleaners to be laundered.

JMHO, I think we need to cut this family some slack about the laundry and the dog. (Poor puppy.)

I'm thinking they may have stashed it on Sunday

Per the news, Texas was having record setting rains. Many areas were completely flooded. Per locals posting here on WS, their yards have been swampy for 2 weeks because of the amount of rain.

Where is a place inside that is almost guaranteed not to have any cameras? The bathroom and/or locker room. Been thinking about this and guess we will know for sure if/when more information is released re. Where Missy was found.

If you look at the last clip of the longest video, when the perp comes out of "Room 12," you can very clearly see the beam of the headlamp on the door frame.
