Someone had mentioned in an earlier thread that the ATF may have been brought in because the crime happened in a church. I don't know the standard protocol for crimes committed in churches or schools, but I think it's reasonable to think that there might be different concerns about a murder committed in a church than a murder committed in someone's home, at least initially. But there may be other reasons that LE was concerned or suspicious of a gun or a bomb being used or left at the scene.

Some articles have stated that the FBI has been providing special case-tracking software to MPD for this case to help them with the hundreds of tips they have received. MPD is a fairly small department without much homicide experience so I got the impression that they asked for help from anyone and everyone who could assist.

Interesting thoughts. Someone previously posted about a female church pastor who was also murdered in Texas, I believe in her church. I don't recall multiple agencies being involved in that investigation, but I am often wrong,so... jmo

Actually that article is based on the cell phone search warrant, which the search warrant doesn't state the COD. It's the media who is actually saying something that isn't in the document itself.

LOL Ugh NG. I cant even. Watching for Missy tho...all NG is doing is harping on the husband and his trip. Also how the husband continues to go to the P/D to pour out his feelings and theories...using the P/D as a therapist basically. Thats one way to look at it to say the least. I'll leave that alone. N/G revealed the search warrant was released--revealing the COD then she bantered on and on about the Hubbys fishing trip. Thats the gist of it for 33 minutes. JMO. I'll post the transcript like I did last time she covered the story. Her transcripts are great recaps for those that are having trouble keeping up.

My Mr. works for the Federal Aviation Administration. He says practices vary by regional airport, but most do not track who flies in and out—and the FAA does not require them to—as long as they are using visual flight rules. If the pilot files a flight plan with the tower or airport, however, then tail number is recorded.

I found a public FB post from a sweet friend she was with in Austin who recapped their time together and it was a sweet look into Missy as we have not been able to see her but I'm not sure I can share bc that person has not been in MSM so it's "sleuthing" or "rumor". Where are her people & why are they not talking? THIS speaks volumes!



Oh Bill. Well today we basically abandoned ship and are all floating in the ocean. Here's a life vest.
We tried to discuss exit strategy, headlamps again, BB spoke to media at PD again, we found our way back to RB again, violated TOS several times, discussed the rain hindering the outside evidence, found some interesting people on MB FB, posted a map of a church that is not THE church and apparently the town had an incident today that caused a "soft lockdown" of schools but don't be alarmed, it wasn't related to the case. Whew.

ETA: We made a list of coincidences that Tricia is allowing as long as we can verify they aren't rumors.
ETAA: Can't believe I forgot, we mixed up The Texas Rangers, again!

I can't help it that the last LE press conference was on the 22nd, but that's what they said in their last press conference. Whether or not you consider that 'old' is up to you, but it is a fact that the last official comment from LE regarding BB is that 'everything is on the table.'

Most murders are violent and vicious. But not all murders are investigated by the FBI, Texas Rangers, BATF, US Marshals. Nor are canines trained to detect explosives brought to most crime scenes. Something about this particular crime scene motivates this type of investigation. What did LE see there ? jmo

Not trying to be a smarty pants, but JMHO it because of the clothing they saw the Suspect wearing. It is a criminal offense in itself to pretend to be a LEO. Sure they were making sure if it really is or isnt. Smart move JMHO.

That is a correct diagram, except for what was said by about leaving. By this he is saying Suspect went back out the metal door that broke into in the kitchen area. JMHO

Captain Spann :again we see him walking down one of the hallways, but presumably he went out the same way came in, speculation on our part but he broke window reached in and opened the door. there are 2nd and 3rd windows broken but no evidence that anyone went through them [/B] *** so they have time stamp video of Suspect walking down a hallway after the assault, that's what he is saying correct, going back out the way came in? Hi Ark- I am technically impaired so please forgive me.

If you'll notice on the video of the perp opening the dutch doors, he leaves them open and he heads toward the back of the church with his hand along the wall to his/her right.

The film jumps a bit and we see the perp returning up the same hallway toward the front of the church and the dutch doors. I can't tell but he/she appears to have something new in his her right hand. (the unidentified mystery box)?? He/she enters right into the alcove to the auditorium and starts hammering. So......

Where did the perp go after heading toward the back after fiddling with the Dutch doors? Was there a room on the SE corner where he retrieved this "thing" or did he go all the way around the back, and up the other hallway, pick this thing up and returns the way he came (back up the dutch door hallway).

Do you or anyone else see this?

Kerry Sanders on the TODAY Show, said that FBI were going over MOUNTAINS of video from the store, hoping that someone with the gait/walk of the Suspect had been in the store, with their face uncovered. That was on the 21st or 22nd iirc

I really feel for those campers who found MB. That will be a nightmare they will never get over. And the poor first camper, that ended up finding her... same thing but so many what ifs. So sad all around. And I see honestly why some may not be wanting to be on tv in front of reporters. Its hard enough as is, and not knowing... but look at just these threads, not talking about whole social media. Their innocent lives would be more torn up than is now. Personally I wouldnt nor would I post here personal things. JMHO Thats the Real Life side of it.
