I've been trying to find links for these as suggested. Sorry if it's a bit messy, I'm still new at posting and am trying to figure out how to quote and reply to everyone. Hope this helps!

Mother mentions BB was worried about his wife. About 1:00
http://www.cbsnews.com/news/family-...exas-church-murder-victim-terri-missy-bevers/

He mentions that he was in Mississippi for a fishing trip. It's right at the beginning
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vK-VrD-5dPQ&feature=youtu.be

In the above video BB mentions that he got a call from the campers and if he had been on the ship he would not have been able to get the call for a couple days. Around the 0:20 mark.

Around 4:35.
It's not letting me put in the link so I'm going to put it in another post below

Here is a article on it. It includes the warrant for the shirt. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/warrant-father-in-law-of-mom-in-church-murder-had-bloody-shirt/

I have no idea how to link a specific facebook post. But on April 15 she made a post thanking her daughter for helping her. BB also mentions it during the interview below, around the 18:20 mark.
"{daughters name}... thank you for being my helper at all my 9:00am camps and then getting in your workout! You Rock, girl."
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lnBJ17dtx48&feature=youtu.be

I can't really link to something that doesn't exists, but there are many links to BB family interviews, and none from MB's family.

It's a bit hard to tell but RB is walking with the penguin/duck walk around 0:50
It's the same video as the one that will be in the post below

It is mentioned that the assault happened off-camera and they do not have any video. It's around the 12:25 mark.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNLtwTK2hq8&feature=youtu.be

Again, I have no idea how to post a specific link from fb, and I don't believe that I can link to BB's page anyways? But it is on his fb page and this the link that he shared
http://ultimateclassicrock.com/randy-meisner-wife-shot/?trackback=fbshare_top_flat_3

Still looking for something more official, but it has been mentioned in various articles.

Being emotionless is, of course, a subjective thing. But here is the link to that interview.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lnBJ17dtx48&feature=youtu.be

I have found several articles mentioning that LE said outside cameras were not working. But could not find an official thing.

I'm still 8 pages behind, but came to this and want to say Goddess Bless You YamBunny! Thank you.

Thank you, but I will admit that I was wondering about any religious groups other than Christians. jmo

Good thought, but I doubt he could possibly be of any other religion since he clearly knew his way around this church.

Great sleuthing but, if the last post was Sunday night at 9:50pm Pacific time and the murder was known to BB shortly after 5:00am Central time, which is 3:00am Pacific time and as BB likely called his father shortly after he found out (sometime after 3:00am CA time) and then they, VB and RB, grief stricken, made arrangements to get back to TX and spent Monday and Tuesday getting to Midlothian, then I don't think the absence of fb posts means much.

Who is going to post 'my daughter-in-law was murdered this morning and we are headed back as fast as we can get there"? No one.

Jus' saying.

AGREE! Not to mention their digital footprint would show a ping from CA when they got the call on Missy. And we all know airports are the surveillance camera kingdoms these days because of terrorism. They could check their alibi at the check-in counter, could watch video through screening, know whether they got on the plane, etc. I think the blood warrant was strategic to rule out a future defense attorney from using that against the state. Hopefully we can all move past RB and his wife soon. :)

I'm beginning to think they are camped out at the police station! lol! He said he didn't call, but just came down. I don't find that unusual at all. I have followed another case where family members will just drop in at the police station for updates on their deceased loved ones case. I wouldn't doubt that he may be personal friends with some of the officers?
On the personal friends line, BB commented Sheriff stopped by after storm damage on his FB. Big county. Is he friends with sheriff?

I thought hit from the get go. The part i don't understand is why they would attack from the front and not just a surprise hit from behind.

^bbm Yes, trying to figure sequence of events w attack from rear but also leaving chest wounds.
Maybe, in brief, initial attack from behind, then chest wounds?

Warning, graphic:
Hidden in dark bldg, did perp wait until Ms B entered, walked past hiding place, then attack her from behind?
Initial powerful swing - hammer? baseball bat? brick? wrench? nightstick? - into back of head or neck?
More blows, some striking, some glancing, as Ms B slumped?

At point when Ms B was (groggy? unconscious? on floor) on side/stomach and unable to fight back, did perp move/roll her onto her back?
Did perp then switch to puncturing tool(s) (perp's own or from church)? (I'm cringing while typing) Hunting knife? Screwdriver? Kitchen knife? Scissors?
W Ms B on floor and perp squatting/kneeling/sitting, did perp then inflict fatal wounds? Puncturing lungs? Heart? Other vital organs?

Just a possibility: explains chest wounds to Ms B, although initial attack was not from front.

Ms B was fit and strong
Could Ms B be fatally injured by someone smaller, shorter, weaker, less fit than she was?
Did she have self defense training or RL experience in hand-to-hand fighting/close quarters combat?
Could a surprise attack from the rear overcome any SD training or RL fighting experience Ms B may have had? ITS, but JM2cts.

IF BB was't speaking out or going to LE department often, then everyone would be screaming about how suspicious it was that he wan't doing these things. Nothing he can do will satisfy people.

What are the stages of grief? Denial, anger, acceptance and what else? It doesn't matter, but we all know (at least those of us who have grieved) that the emotions come in no order and do not flow in a straight line. BB is holding on to his faith, trying to find peace and healing and he is trying to rush it. Anyone who has grieved knows that all we want is the pain to stop and think it will never get better. He is holding onto his faith because this is what Christians are taught to do. I assume other religions teach the same.

I have family that belong to a very different type of religion/church than I and at the funeral services of 2 family members, people were singing and clapping and smiling and swaying and almost dancing in celebration of the person going to Heaven and no one was crying. It was all praise. I am more used to solemn services with lots of weeping and mourning. But, the members of the family's church meant what they said and they have held the hands of the deceased's family through thick and thin and they are always HAPPY! Always. Even in times of sorrow, they rejoice. It is hard to understand, but their faith is stronger than mine, I suppose. I kinda envy them, they all seem so sure of things and weather storms without anger or sorrow - always looking at the big picture of eternal life rather than the pesky things of earthly life.

BB is a devout Christian man, I believe and he is leaning on Jesus which is what we are taught to do. And, as a Christian, he believes that Missy is in Heaven where there is only love and that he will reunite with her. It isn't easy being Christian, it takes work and he looks like he is working on it hard right now.

Pray for him.

Back to the tools. Seems he knew where they were stored but why not come prepared?

  • #571
Good thought, but I doubt he could possibly be of any other religion since he clearly knew his way around this church.

But LE has said they have 30 minutes of video. He was doing recon in there during that time. He seemed surprised about the dutch doors. Not sure how well he knew that church, but jmo

On the personal friends line, BB commented Sheriff stopped by after storm damage on his FB. Big county. Is he friends with sheriff?

So the Sheriff would only visit friends after a disaster? No average citizens? What's a "personal friends line"?

Are there so many locals here on this site that they are trying to identify perp? I am a bit stunned by that.
By that I mean physically recognize him/her.

I think many of us DO think we recognize them. We just want to adhere by the rules on this forum and not name specific individuals until it's a fact by LE.

**Edit: By recognize, I mean they fit the physical description based on body style and theory. I also believe the eyes match.

As time moves on, it's harder and harder for me and many locally that I know not to look outside the CG/business circle.

The main reason is the cameras. IMO, Only a handful of people at that church knew the cameras were motion-activated. If someone inquired about about them, the church staff would find that highly suspicious. Then, it's often reported on here that the "outside cameras didn't work." They DID work, but weren't activated. It's not a coincidence to me that the perp picked a rainy day and went undetected outside with ease. Then they callously performed on camera and moseyed around for all of us and killed Missy by finding a spot off-camera. This is no coincidence to me. Missy lives on a road that is very spaced out and dark. They didn't ambush her there in the driveway. They picked a place that they could perform on camera bc they think they're smarter than everyone else.

The only people who would know these specifics would be those in her family (which I 100% believe they're innocent) or CG associates or their spouses. As some campers on here have noted, they just showed up for class and didn't know what was motion-activated or not.

I don't buy the theory that it's someone who stalked her. Once again, how would they know such intricate details of that church.

I don't buy that they left on motorcycle for a few reasons. For one, Hwy 287 has multiple lights and is desolate that time of the night. Someone would have remembered them if they were dressed in that gear. If they picked the back roads, there's no way they sped through there. The roads back behind the church have steep, steep curves that are slick. Even if the rain stopped at that time, they'd have to take those curves very slow. It's hard for me to believe the high school cameras there or fire department camera across the street wouldn't pick up a vehicle that time of the night.

We talk a lot about Midway Airport. However, there's a neighborhood in town called Eagles Nest Estates. All the homeowners there (I think 40 homes) have airplanes, personal hangars and a private runway behind their houses. I don't suspect this to be the case here, I just wanted to point out there are multiple places.

JMO...I believe CG leaders and those married to them would know the "lay of the land" better than anyone else. They would have an excuse why they were out at that time of the morning. They'd understand she would walk inside and open up the restroom or facilities. They knew precisely how much time would be needed to get done and out.

On here, many of us put so much effort into dissecting what people say on FB. Perhaps we should focus on those who had NOTHING to say when she was murdered. It's one thing to be her family, in shock and quiet. It's another to know Missy and never acknowledge the loss of this beautiful soul, yet you continue to post about worldly things. That's not a coincidence to me.

Darn it! I wanted to see if I got the other side right lol I did on the other side ;) My vision is getting blurry lol
I think we are on the same page but different paragraphs. My fault. I meant the sanctuary door he /she appeared to be hammering on. Across from the dutch doors. Too tired. Off to bed.

Bingo.

And isn't everybody saying the perp must have been a member of the church to know his way around so much? Weren't people considering the possibility that one of the church members was so incensed over the exercise classes that it may have been the motive? Those scriptures lend credence to the theory.

No, I don't think everyone here believes that the perp had to be a member of that church to walk through four hallways swinging a hammer. (At least, I don't believe that.)

And I think, honestly, even fewer people would believe such a brutal murder would've been carried out by someone who was simply offended by exercise classes happening in the church parking lot. All those federal agencies aren't involved simply because some little church lady got her knickers in a wad.

IMO. :)

That article actually predates LE's last press conference when they said he wasn't cleared. That article is from the 20th and doesn't name the source, but the press conference actually on the record saying he wasn't cleared was on the 22nd.

Like I said I just linked the page and that is all. That was the headline yesterday (like a teaser) but then they pulled that headline and then I found it on their site in that article which according to Google was a new article for the day. Now that may be an article that is several days old but I do know they update articles on some sites. Was that the case here? I don't know. I was just posting the link because someone asked about it. I didn't say it was fact. It is however there in black and white for all of us to see.

I have been signed on here but not at my laptop so I am just seeing your comment.

Somebody's confused. Probably me.
BOOTS, Or somebody can't get their story straight, or is really bad at geography??? Just sayin'....headed back from Florida? really? And via Shreveport, too many miles north....if you are trying to take a direct route. Just really, really odd.

Did anybody else notice the geographic inconsistencies in the story told by her friend?
(Now back to pgs I have not read, buh-bye)

Link please??

I'm still 8 pages behind, but…

On BB's FB, on March 5, 2016, he writes: "I recently updated Facebook on my iPhone (actually my 8 yr old chose to update every app on my phone at once). I scroll with my left thumb. SO if you see one of those dang love emojis- or otherwise-coming from me, I guarantee my thumb did it by accident. I don't do public emojis.)"

Q: Is this sufficient for a source or do I need to post an actual link?

If the glove won't fit-you cannot convict.

Is that how it went?
