Well now I'm wondering.. Obviously there is video of the campers entering the scene (as well as LE, EMS FF) so they have an advantage here bc the "after" is on camera. This will allow for reaction and behavior to be analyzed *if* they suspect the perp didn't leave or returned, etc. Unless the perp left out a window or some back door on a side without a camera, they have footage (IMO) they did say "left after" or something close to that so, IMO, they have the big puzzle pieces we are missing.

I believe the murder was caught on camera. But they want to be able to discount false tips, false confessions, and false 2nd hand knowledge of a supposed tipster.

So my friend said he stabbed her 20 times. Okay next.

I believe it was the last thread, but a couple of posters said that there have been killers who have posted here before.

As for the post issue- MB posted on Sunday night that she would be at the church in the morning, rain or shine. She gave specific times and included the time her alarm was going off. It has since been deleted but you can find it referenced in many mainstream news articles. There are also a couple of screen shots of the post out there. Again, her posts were all public and anyone could see them and comment/like them.

I wondered about this too but I don't think so. There were plenty of places there for the perp to hide until everyone was there. JMO

Yeah but if they didn't know that someone was arriving early, they might not be hidden. Nervous pacing and rechecking the plan, perhaps.

To me it is obvious this was not a burglary. Burglar would want vehicle close by, especially when it was raining and that the walking a long way in that cumbersome, heavy outfit trying to carry the booty would be difficult and very risky that someone would see them.

If it is two sets of doors, why would someone only prop open one set? It might be two sets, just I don't know why you'd open one but not the other. This is the photo I have that I believe is of those doors and it only looks like one set:

SI, the doors at the very end of that long passage go to out to the Porte Cochere. It is impossible to see from this photo whether the doors are double or single. The cameras shooting the perp when he stands in front of the bulletin board and when he heads down the hall with the Dutch doors---those cameras are mounted above the doorway at the end of that passage. Let me know if I need to explain further.

Why would you prop open one set of doors and not two? Well, think about the reason for the doors---to keep out hot or cold weather. When it is really hot in the summer, the double set of doors help keep the cool air inside the building. This time of year, the weather is very moderate, and so it is less important to keep both sets of doors closed.

But there is no way (IMO) that the church people just left the doors to the outside propped open. If the perp had propped them open, then LE probably would have released video of that. And if MB arrived and the doors to the building are just standing propped wide open, I don't think there's any way in God's green earth that she would enter the building. (Would you?) No, when she arrived, everything looked "right."

I think so too. Why only have surveillance tape in certain areas ? other than bathrooms, maybe the surveillance was everywhere in the church.jmo

I lost the link but I saw where someone checked purchases made at an online tactical shop and a POLICE vest was ordered end of March. Delivery about 2 weeks time in USA. A J...E B. That could be a million people in this country. It could be a legitimate buy etc. I'm sure the FBI has checked all the online sales etc. That vest could be old, ordered, stolen. I don't envy LE. So many avenues. They have my utmost respect.

Cameras wouldn't explain how they'd know the time of the early camper if they stayed inside their car. If there's no cameras around and it's only the camper's word, nothing is to say that the camper didn't arrive at 3:30 AM and park on the opposite side of the main entrance where Missy wouldn't see it upon arriving.

No. If I have a correct picture of the building in my mind (and I think we have others here who have actually been in the building so they can correct me), there are four hallways in the building. I'll call them west, south, east, and north.

In the latest video, I believe (MOO) that we first see the perp in the hallway on the west side of the building, the camera faces south. He turns and walk down the hall away from the camera (south).

Then we see him in the main lobby, which I also refer to as the South Hallway. The first camera shot is facing West.

Then the perp makes his way up the East Hallway, headed north, where he stops momentarily to open the Dutch doors and keeps going. The camera is pointing north up that hallway.

Then the perp makes his way back down the East Hallway (traveling south), and he turns into an interior room.

Finally, we see the perp in a different hallway that we have not seen before, and I suspect this is the North Hallway, camera facing East.

It would be nice if we had a layout of the building, but we don't yet.

I'm going to try to elaborate this explanation. Y'all hang on. Since I posted this, I notice the building isn't set north/south/east/west, and so I don't want to be confusing.

The really sad part is that Missy had know idea what was going to happen.

LE stated she was still in the process of unloading her fitness gear when she was murdered. I still believe she managed to get a few of her things into the church before she was attacked.

I do think she saw the broken glass at the end of the hallway and or the closest hallway room doors near the entrance tampered with and went to see what was going on. Pretty risky to attack a person in front of the door where they could be seen. With the tight timeline, it's probable that she sensed a burglary but didn't think the person was still in the church. She was physically fit and LE did say there was a struggle.

So chilling to think a person had to experience this violence.
