One dead, several reported injured in 'active shooter' situation at Fort Hood

The shooting broke out about 4:30 p.m. and killed at least one person at the military post in Killeen, Texas. The shooter is still at large and believed to be inside the post's Medical Brigade Building, according to reports. The installation is on lockdown

I think that Meadows Elementary is on post and is on lockdown, IIRC.

Shooting at Fort Hood Military Base, as Many as Eight Wounded

As many as eight people may have been wounded and taken to hospitals, officials told NBC News.

Officials told NBC News that one person was in custody and that a second possible shooter was being sought.
