(respectfully bolded) Totally agreed.

I am still fearful on the boat aspect. Modern self-storage was founded in Odessa TX in the mid-60s. He had to have had cheaper options by this time in Houston that would have fulfilled his sick "needs," even then. I'm extremely unsettled by the choice of a boat shed. It implies-- a boat. Agreed though, does it necessitate a boat? No. Does it imply one? Yes.

Dean Corll with... a boat?? It's more terrifying than anything I've ever seen on any of these threads. And so help me, yes, when I look at that image in question--that looks like the inside of a boat.

Can anything possibly make me feel better about what I've just posted? You know, probably not...
It might have been because the boat shed had a dirt floor. The people that owned the place never checked the spaces so it probably had more privacy as well. He could bury as many as he wanted......until it got full.

I also remember them asking Henley about it and he said he didn't recognize the boy......he would recognize his brother. I don't remember where I read that but I do remember it.

I like the Ramsland book, it has a large amount of information that can be verified. She goes into how there seemed to be an underlining force stopping the investigations and losing evidence. She also ties in the rumors and facts of Gacy and the people both of them had around them. I will say she does try to give Henley excuses at times for being young and tries to back it up by using psychology studies. I will say this though, Henley as big as a monster as he is he tried to get the detectives to keep looking into the case. Even to this day he will answer any questions. Brooks after talking the first time grabbed a lawyer and shut his mouth. He had more information than Henley and was with Dean longer. He actually tried to bring Henley as a victim. He went to his death holding a lot of secrets and hopefully God is holding him accountable for that.
Yeah Henley tried to save his skin imo. Still the police should have investigated his claims. Ramsland trying to defend him on account of him being young? Nah. I don't care also that the family was very poor. Who the hell will procure a man with a boy for money??

Yeah I dont buy that either. In a few conversations that David Brooks had with the police he said that Henley could be very sadistic during some of the murderers.
