The Sparks Police Department is assisting the Haskell Police Department in Texas in locating a missing child. Urijah Livingston, 9 years of age, is in the company of her non-custodial biological mother, Desiree Ward. Urijah was visiting her mother in Texas when she did not return to her custodial parent on July 22, 2018.

Haskell Police Chief Ken Barnett contacted the Sparks Police Department with information Urijah may be with her mother living at a homeless camp along the river in Sparks. Further investigation revealed the two may have been staying at an unidentified camp in Reno near the downtown area. There is concern for the child’s welfare and well-being in her mother’s care and the conditions she has been exposed to. It is also believed Desiree is concealing the child from detection.

Anyone who may have information as to the location of Urijah or Desiree is asked to call the Sparks Police Department or Secret Witness.

How can a mother let her child live in such conditions? Especially, since she has somewhere to live that is not in homeless camps. You are not supposed to want that for your child. You want what is best for them. This poor little girl.
