TX - Willard Conner, 54, shot to death, 21 June 2003

Mina and Willard Connor were married less than seven years. During that marriage, he reportedly beat her numerous times.

The prosecution said in court Monday, the couple fought a lot, threw things at each other often, and even shot pistols around one another, but their fight on June 21, 2003 would be their last.

A San Augustine county woman on trial for killing her husband has been found not guilty. Nina Conner was accused of shooting Williard Connor to death two years ago.
