For the life of me I cannot understand why people do this. Time and time again you read stories of tiny little people abused and killed by those who should be caring for them. If they don’t want the child then there are plenty who would take them in I’m sure

Here is his excuse for doing nothing to save his child.

The child's father later told investigators that Bailey was "too rough" with the infant. He said that whenever he would try to stop her, Bailey would assault him.

Well they had a different spelling of Bailey's first name in that last article posted. As Brittney - and the first article was Brittany - and I see that I have the wrong county.... Should Travis county not Harris... oops. And unfortunately, Travis County is giving me a 503 error. And the jail site is also.

Bailey was booked into the Travis County correctional complex in May. Her bond is $600,000. The father, Erick Resendiz, 26, was charged with injury to a child, a state jail felony, and was booked Friday, Oct. 25. His bond is $10,000, records state.

She was blessed with not one but two beautiful babies. Prayers for the surviving twin, that they get all the love and care that this mother should have been giving to them and their siblings.

for Erick, I am seeing a pending DUI for an offense committed on 02/21/25 and in his case involving the abuse it appears his next court date is in April.
