It also says they went to the Movies Monday, Monday was the 10th. They went to the Movies on the 11th, Tuesday. Then Zuzu missed her exam and job the next day, Wednesday the 12th

I asked a friend who was with her on Monday for clarification. Her exam was a makeup test on Wednesday. Not everyone's midterm.

The movie theater is free for students on Monday, she did go that night with the person I spoke with and the group of friends (who have all been extensively questioned and cleared). That night she and RF left the group to go to the other screen at the theater. Rumors and reports are that they were arguing. One of the friends in the group was a male she referred to as her best friend and was getting closer to dating. She was at the coffee shop with this friend on Tuesday before the movie. If she went with the best friend on Tuesday and then met up with RF after, that would fuel the arguing at his apartment.

I wish the LE and media were more clear on these details.

Well that's a whole different story. If her Mom knew she was going 'on a date' Tuesday night and it turns out the date wasn't with RF...well, it's no wonder the family keeps calling him an on-again off-again boyfriend. Maybe Zuzu thought off-again and RF thought otherwise.

Regarding the timeline. I think RF was the one who said he saw her on his street at 3AM. I think he told her family on Friday, she left my place Wed 3am, haven't seen her blah blah lies.

All MOO My Opinion Only

So...just to be clear, she went to the movies Monday and Tuesday? A free movie Monday, then another on Tuesday?

I'm pretty sure I read early on she had driven from her parents house to go on the date too, I had forgotten about that when all the other info started to come out, and that she lived In Alpine.

Both of the stories that she drove from her parents' home to Alpine for the date originated in Dallas/Ft Worth area news sources, not Alpine. Both of those stories came out after the original ones. Her parents have never been quoted saying she was home for the weekend and drove back to Alpine. Sloppy reporting IMO.

ETA: Upthread the Daily Mail was linked to the story about driving back to Alpine from her parent's. They have great photos, but are never detail-oriented IMO.

There's a whole other aspect here, if RF provided her location as "last saw her Wednesday AM, etc." This time may be way, way off. If
no one else has verified this to be the case, then it becomes just hearsay. It potentially adds to the amount of time in which something
could have happened. Again, hoping GPS, cell phone pings, call records can come into play. BP has night vision cameras, I'm sure.
Plenty of game cameras on ranches, road sensors. County, APD, DPS, BP patrolling and watching. This is remote country, but not
completely desolate.

There are eyes watching, maybe where you wouldn't expect them to be.

I believe there is still CCTV footage being turned over to LE. It will definitely help LE determine if anyone is lying about their whereabouts that early Wednesday morning. It was critical for Tricia Todd's timeline and the person that murdered her.

Alpine police confirm he (RF) was the last known person to see the young woman.
:notgood:

A neighbor of Fabian's at his apartment complex said he had been asked not to discuss what he knew in detail. He did say he heard the couple arguing the night Zuzu disappeared.

A neighbor was key in Tricia Todd's case too. She knew Tricia's car was NOT parked where Tricia always parked.

I don't think I've seen this yet, I apologize if it's already been posted!

To accommodate all the new people coming to Websleuths because of the docuseries we are moving to a much bigger and faster server.

This is just a reminder that the Websleuths forum will be down starting Wednesday (tomorrow) at 6 PM Eastern. We hope to be back up by Thursday morning.

Members can check for updates on Twitter and Facebook.

Does RF have a job? Did he go to work Wednesday?

I hope that LE are able to track cell activity and pings. Since RF is in phamaceuticals and not the cell phone industry (like Enrique Arochi), I doubt he would know how to wipe out phones. Not well enough to deceive LE. Praying!

He is said to be a pharmacy technician at the regional hospital in Alpine as well as at a local drugstore. We don't know if he went to work Wednesday.

Thank you for the link! Those are most definitely some scary *** people!! They are truly of what nightmares are made. Sadistic evil doers! How long did they keep this poor guy in the bathtub in the apartment? How many people saw him and said nothing? ? A 3-vehicle convoy to take the body to dispose of in the desert!! I always wonder if a first time murderer uses a case they read about in the news or follow as a blueprint for murder. Scary to think about especially with dismemberment and perps thinking that is the way to get rid of evidence.
Nightmarish is right! It will be interesting to find out the answers to your questions, our media keeps up with this type of story. I also wonder about murderers following some kind of blueprint, I would think some do! May need to look up some data on this because it's such a plausible thought IMO.

The people in this story are a whole different can of worms, though. The gang mentality (intimidation, torture, violence and murder) is literally just their way of life. It wouldn't surprise me at all if these perps grew up in this environment. About 20 years ago I assisted a sociology professor by gathering info on a particular El Paso gang, I hung out and walked the streets with them after they deemed me, the juera who wasn't fluent in Spanish, OK. Eye-opening and really not safe, let me tell you. The kids who had relatives in our most prevalent Mexican prison gang were higher up and had more influence than the kids who didn't. Sad, sad, sad. Beautiful children who through no fault of their own drew the short straw and we're almost destined to become violent offenders themselves. I can honestly say that's what some of them believed was expected of them. Murder = Respect. Could ramble on and on about this but O/T! MOO

I see that Websleuths is planning an upgrade this evening to make things better.

Is this going to be one of those horrible upgrades that results in the inability to login, endless glitches, screen lock-ups, password lockouts, and server malfunctions ?

Or,

Is it going to be one of those "easy as pie" upgrades that results in the inability to login, endless glitches, screen lock-ups, password lockouts, and server malfunctions ?

Say what you need to say to one another today.................we really don't know if there will be a tomorrow.

LE has stated that she was possibly seen at Stripes with an unidentified man (not unidentifiable man) at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday. Information regarding whether or not this was confirmed was not released. Considering how very recognizable and known she is in Alpine, I doubt it was a mistaken identity.

RF's neighbor stated he heard the couple arguing, but was asked not to discuss it in detail. Prior to this bit of information being released to the public http://www.wfaa.com/news/local/texa...u-verk-has-covered-400-square-miles/341671286 , the neighbor had already told friends that there was arguing and the television was loud between 12 and 3 a.m. (in my post early on). And he said RF left around 3. It is unknown (at least publicly) when he returned home that morning. RF stated he last saw her Weds morning (the time was not made public as far as I know).

IMO, Those things add up to RF and Zuzu having an argument at his house until 3-ish and then RF driving her home or somewhere, stopping at Stripes along the way (it is very close to his residence).

Alpine and surrounding towns "wake up" by 7 a.m. If RF is responsible for her disappearance, it had to be between 3:30 and 7 a.m. at the latest. So, he couldn't have gone very far with her. Also, CPB patrol shift change is at 7. There is limited to no patrol coverage between 6 and 8 a.m. ...especially in Marathon area, as it is in between two stations.

I wonder what the "details" are the neighbor has been asked not to discuss publicly.

The sounds of someone being beaten?
Arguing and screaming followed by a thump and sudden silence?
A shot or shots fired?
A car boot being opened and closed and a car driving away hurriedly?

How close to RF's apartment is this neighbor? Do we know? Did he have a line of sight or just heard arguing through the wall?

I hope with all my heart they find Zuzu today and the family's nightmare of not knowing is over!

This article's headline painted a darker picture of CE's inconclusive polygraph. It refers to him as "not cleared." As I posted above, most inconclusive polygraphs are because of the examiner, not the examinee. I hope they will redo the polygraph.

"For roughly 4.5 hours Estrada was questioned and according to Brewster County Sheriff Ronny Dodson, the polygraph test did not clear Estrada from the investigation just yet.
Due to the nature of the investigation Dodson could not elaborate further on Estrada’s interview."

http://www.cbs7.com/content/news/Fi...ot-cleared-following-polygraph-398596141.html

If Estrada was attempting to skew results by means of physiological methods, it could render an inconclusive result as well. And I agree, another test should suss that out with refined questions, and close observation/testing for drugs/alcohol or other methods that throw the test off.
