Let's hope camera's caught that "if" it happened. They could be trying to throw police off.

Good thinking. RF could have told people he took his mother and sister to the Mexico border as an alibi but maybe they didn't really go.

Since we now know that Robert lived upstairs. Do you think he and the neighbor shared the same entrance? I am looking at the photo of the apartment and trying to determine if they shared an entrance.

Two doors there on the side. Another one under the little roof. I'm looking at it on Google maps.

ETA: There is a third door towards the back where the stairs are so I bet that is the entrance to the upstairs apartment.

They did interview with LE, I believe it was stated, on Tuesday (this week? based on how quickly events have started moving).
Based on that, I think they may have gone to Mexico, but then come back. I don't know the time frame for this, but only reiterating what LE said about them being interviewed and not being cooperative.

If so, if they went and came back, I wonder WHERE they went and WHAT they took with them.

Yes I see now. There is a door an each side of the portion that juts out. One side (405A) must be for the upstairs (Robert's) and the other side (405) for the downstairs (neighbor). Source: Google Earth

IIRC, we saw photos of LE handing bags of evidence through the door at street level in that little roofed building part that sticks out. My guess would be that there is an interior set of stairs there up to RF's apt and that is also the entrance to the downstairs neighbors door. There may be also a back set of stairs (fire escape?) that only goes up to RF's apartment.

I know someone has posted this scenario as what possibly happened, but I believe they (family) had RF leave while they cleaned and borrowed the truck for disposal? CE provided the alibi.

There are what appears to be LE / Crime Scene Investigators in the pic (see below for pic). What roomate are you referring to? I don't think RF had a roomate. The broken fence is a pic from google earth so it was there already.

Presidio is A City. It borders Ojinagua Mexico.
