Woman dies in fall from Bristol flats - murder probe launched | ITV News


A woman has died following a fall at a block of flats in Bristol.

Avon and Somerset Police have launched an investigation and a man has been arrested in connection with the incident.

Police were called shortly before 12.30am today (Tuesday 19 April) after a woman was found at the bottom of Lansdowne Court in Easton with serious injuries.

Officers carried out emergency first aid, but she died at the scene. Police say her injuries were consistent with a fall from height.A 43-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Update on investigation into woman’s death in Bristol | Avon and Somerset Police


Police have been granted more time to interview a man arrested in connection with the death of a 25-year-old woman in Bristol.

Magistrates granted a warrant of further detention to allow for further questioning of a 43-year-old man, who was arrested yesterday on suspicion of murder.

Enquiries continue following woman’s death in Easton | Avon and Somerset Police


A post-mortem has been carried out following the death of a 25-year-old woman in Bristol.

Emergency services were called to a block of flats in Easton during the early hours of Tuesday 19 April after the woman was reported to have fallen from a height.

A post-mortem was carried out yesterday (Wednesday 20 April) and confirmed her death was caused by injuries sustained in a fall.

The formal identification process has not yet been completed and therefore we are not in a position to reveal her name at the moment. However her family have been kept updated with all the developments in our investigation and are being supported by specially trained officers.

A 43-year-old man, who was arrested on Tuesday, was released under investigation last night.
