Where can I watch or listen to it?

  • In the UK, the three-hour show is going to be broadcast on BBC One and streamed live on the BBC iPlayer. The coverage, broadcast from 18:55 BST to 22:00 BST will be presented by Sara Cox and Ore Oduba, with Nick Grimshaw and Anita Rani hosting from backstage and in the crowd.

  • On radio, coverage will run from 18:30 BST to 22:00 BST. BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Radio Manchester will join together to simulcast a programme hosted by Scott Mills, Jo Whiley, Phil Williams and Becky Want. They will broadcast live from within Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground, with build-up to the gig from 18:30 BST and 19:00 BST. All four presenters will then provide commentary from 19:00 BST onwards.

  • Outside the UK, broadcasters in at least 38 countries will screen the show live, despite the time zone differences. TV networks in China, the US, Brazil, France, New Zealand, Canada and Australia will broadcast the show.

And today's vehicle attacks on London Bridge and storming the restaurants, etc are reminiscent of the Paris attacks as well, imo.

Daily Mail
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4570064/Manchester-bomb-highly-similar-2015-Paris-bomb.html

(...) a security source told The Mail on Sunday: ‘While Abedi carried the device into Manchester Arena, he certainly didn’t design the bomb and more than likely he didn’t even put it together.

Rather, there was somebody with significant bomb making experience behind Abedi, as there was behind the three suicide bombers who blew themselves up outside the Stade de France in Paris in November 2015. In security jargon, the fingerprints on the Manchester and Paris devices are the same

Raffaello Pantucci, Director of International Security Studies at the Royal United Services Institute think-tank, agreed, saying: ‘I can’t believe that he planned and conducted the attack in a vacuum. There are usually commanders, steering from a distance.’

(...)

Detectives are also searching a landfill site near Manchester in an apparent bid to find a fridge which police suspect Abedi used to store explosives. It is understood that the fridge was removed from student accommodation in the Rusholme area of Manchester before a flat was searched last week. A man was arrested in the area yesterday.

Abedi hopped in and out of Libya for training and support, and no one stopped him. A temporary travel ban from Libya would have been very effective in his case.

I'm glad the concert is going ahead tonight in Manchester in a show of defiance against these monsters trying to ruin our peaceful society. I'm sure there will be heavy security. I hope and pray it goes ahead without incident.

A massive thank you to Ariana Grande for pulling that show together tonight, beautifully done.

Absolutely!

I just realised we were posting about it in the London thread and not here.

The body of Manchester terror victim Eilidh MacLeod has been repatriated to her island home of Barra ahead of her funeral on Monday.

A small chartered plane landed at Traigh Mhor beach runway with the 14-year-old's coffin at about 12:45 on Sunday.

Her parents Roddy and Marion were on board.

Eilidh was among 22 people who died in the terrorist attack at the Ariana Grande concert on 22 May.
Her friend Laura MacIntyre, a fellow pupil at Castlebay Community School on the island, was also seriously injured in the bombing at Manchester Arena. The 15-year-old is still in hospital in Manchester.

I thought Ariana did a wonderful job with regards to the concert. The highlight for me were Coldplay. A shame, though, that Oasis couldn't put any differences behind them just for one night. That would have been the icing on the cake.

Liam is spitting feathers about it. Surely Noel could have flown back (from Italy) for one night under the circumstances. .

Wow...let's hope that wasn't a big mistake.
