If we were to believe his story then it leaves very little time for TM to collect the used condom, go home and take Alesha, find an implement, carry out the rape, murder and plant evidence. Then go clear all traces of her being involved, dump a hoodie, go home possibly clean herself up and go to sleep all before 6am.

More time than the accused, given she wouldn't be under the scrutiny of in-house CCTV.

The boy tells the court that the pair had sex with a condom Ms McLachlan had brought with her.

He then says the condom was left on the floor as the pair went separate ways.

During the meeting, he told the court he had given the woman a hooded top “because she was cold”.

He says he then had a shower as soon as he got home.

From what I can understand of his testimony, he is claiming a timeline of being with Toni for some time during the hours of 2am and 3.35 am

But whoever was carrying Alesha along the shorline was doing so at 2.26am - which will be his undoing

I really don’t believe this whatsoever, my opinion is that he has maybe told his friends this story in the past bragging and wants to bring it up again to reinforce that he has had sex with an older girl, obviously it could be true what he is saying but I have a very hard time believing that.

I’m not sure but they don’t seem to be able to prove it actually happened so far we only have his word for it because any evidence the accused has seems he has deleted for whatever reason.

What are people basing their hunch that TM was having an affair with the accused on? Anything other than his story?

Just wondering if I’ve missed something because a few people seem to be open to it
