Really? First I've heard that he told the police this story in the days after Alesha body was found? I thought the start of the trial was the first anyone heard of his version of events ?

The lies being he was buying/smoking weed and being g at home in bed and NOT raping and killing a child which is what he was (allegedly) doing

Let me get this right..

TM is in a shockingly abusive relationship and finds some solace and escape by finding comfort in the arms of the younger boy down the road.....

All ok and believeable so far....

So in this modern romance ..what does she do next?

Run away with her young saviour?
Ask her young beau to help her escape her nightmare?

Nope...we are asked to believe that her next course of action was to have sex with him in a bus shelter in a black operation aimed at framing him for murder
Then to accomplish this set up she also decides that Alesha has to go too.

How does that improve things in any way for TM?

Folks...this whole thing is a fairy story...it is an insult to the intelligence of any right minded person.

Totally agree. The doubt that is being cast on TM is a last ditch attempt to save the skin of the accused. TM and RM are not on trial.

I think it's possible. I don't think the jury will be deliberating for very long. JMO

I can't believe that the post-mortem wouldn't be able to tell the difference between damage done by a child being raped by a man and the damage done by being raped with some sort of tool (for want of a better word). At the very least I'd expect non-semen DNA to be all over the victim and the tears and the damage to the victim to be very different in the two cases.

Back after lunch at 2pm today then you need the defence sums up and then judge sums up. I think jury will be sent out tomorrow morning to deliberate, by the afternoon they should have agreed on a verdict. If not ( unlikely though ) the judge will say he will accept a majority of 10 jurors.. in which case might be Friday... I think tomorrow though!
