I can’t type my thoughts here or I’ll get a ban.

Puts the family through the heartache of a trial, throws mud at the dads girlfriend, then confessed immediately before sentencing. Sick individual.

Despicable human being should never see the light of day again.

A victim impact statement was read out on behalf of Alesha’s grandparents: ‘We are utterly devastated. Alesha was a beautiful, smart, funny and kind girl. We are traumatised. We do not see how we can live a normal life. Her future was taken and so was ours.’

Toni Louise McLaughlan sobs in the public benches as the court is reminded she had absolutely no part in these crimes. This is reenforced by the fact the teenager has now admitted everything.

What does that mean ? does he mean there are other crimes to take into account ?
I was about to ask the same question

Why could he not have confessed last year and saved her family that awful trial.. what a nasty evil wee.....

Because he’s evil to the core. He likes the attention!!

what does that mean ?
I think it means that what was heard in trial was the crimes committed, but there could have been additional things done by AC that have not been heard..

No its about this crime, as many journalists have said, the full depravity of what he did on that night hasn't been revealed.

Poor Alesha, makes me sick.

Probably that the injuries inflicted are far worse

I didn't expect this. I will refrain from typing this again until all the details are in! My heart goes out to A's family in the court just now

I think it means that the full details of what he did to Alesha were not revealed at trial Imho

Edit so more came out to the social worker. He probably revelled in it.

Where is everyone on this thread now saying there’s more to the story, I’m so angry! Confessed and spent £13k SLAB legal fees billed to the tax payer! 🤬🤬🤬
I know how you feel. I believe there is more to the story in regards to his background and how it got to this but the suggestion he didn't act alone makes me sick. I have butterflies in my stomach and feel a bit sick. I dread to think what her family feel right now.

Can't see him ever being released, crime is too horrific, hope the judge does the right thing.

  • #759
Sounds as though he’s told all to the social workers, the judge will have the report in front of him but they’re saying he’s not going to read it all out so not to upset the family further!
