I seem to remember the mum being treated quite harshly on here though.

I don't agree ... there were plenty of supportive comments for Mum.
She was, after all a leading factor in the prosecution.

And we all know (More than in any other case!) she had it in place unless for some reason it was taken down after what happened. Hope they can move on and move out if this is the best thing for them. Who knows?

It was put back up Saturday had the police alerted her to theirs being taken down she could of had it up sooner

Just read the comments on an article about the smashed windows on the Buteman on fb. There seems to be a lot of hatred aimed at ac family from locals. Toni has left comments on it too. I still feel sorry for the mum and sister too as no matter what he was like I’m sure they never saw this coming and shouldn’t have to add fear of locals to everything they are going through

I agree maybe she could of been a better mother but she will now need to live with that herself but she was never to know her son would commit such an evil crime and AC was at an age where he knew right from wrong and still continued to do what he did , the only person to blame in all of this is him

Yes just looked and it appears they have deleted the article. The comments had already got nasty when I read it this morning. If it’s a true reflection of how locals feel about ac mum she must be terrified to stay in the house and terrified to leave.

Oh yeah, I just checked and it's gone from the facebook page. They must have realised it was going to get even nastier and perhaps some people might make threats on there too which could turn into a criminal matter. I really didn't realise just how much bad feeling there was towards AC's mum...it seemed like the majority of the facebook comments were sort of supporting the broken windows or at least saying they wouldn't shop them to the police if they knew who they were....there were only a few saying it was not fair on AC's mum.
