"detention without limit of time"....at least this monster won't be able to kill anybody else....
And maybe somebody will "take care" of him in prison...
Guessing he’ll be very protected in there

You know Deano saunders sometimes protection doesn't work...and criminals really hate pedophiles and maniacs like him.

I totally understand how hated people like him are in prison but as heinous as his crime is and as hated as he is, I'm still not sure the other prisoners will ever get the opportunity to get to him. It seems like other child killers seem to live out their lives in UK prisons without much happening to them.

I agree , although I think he’ll be safe for the time being , well at least untill he’s transferred to the adult jail !

Can you imagine him getting a pay out cause he had been attacked? Like Huntley did. What a slap in the face that would be. When they are so high profile it looks bad on the prison if they are attacked in custody so they’ll be protecting him like crazy right now, especially as he’s under 18. One day I think someone will get him but I doubt it will be more than a black eye or something like that

Exactly Kiki, that’s the main reason he’ll be so well protected. A huge payout and bad publicity is the last thing the prison service needs. It’s the same as allowing prisoners certain Privileges , keeps them happy and saves the riots.

I don’t wish him dead but I do wish him a lifetime of confinement, living with the knowledge of what he did to Alesha and those who love her. I hope he never has a moments peace seeing her face or looking over his shoulder. I don’t doubt for one minute he regrets what he did, not because of Alesha but the abyss which is his future.

Let's hope it is for the disposal of his appeal!

Obviously, Georgina will be attending but I wonder if the MacPhail's will be as well?

I would think Angela and Calum would at least, probably Rab and Toni too

I’ve no doubt every member of Aleshas immediate family will be there.

I think things happen but we don't hear about them as the prison keeps it very hush hush so that they don't look like they've failed in their duty to protect, they don't want any bad press. I actually remember reading somewhere that Aaron had been punched or something similar whilst in there, it was in some sort of small Glasgow paper or zine that you need a subscription to. Someone online was talking about it being in there. I never actually saw it though because you needed to subscribe to buy them. Can't remember what it was now. It could be wrong of course, but yeah..

Yeah, wouldn't surprise me.
Oh yes, that was The Digger lmao. I read it. I don't think it was true though, to be honest. The Scottish Prison Service sent out a tweet saying it was false but like you said, they could be trying to keep it quiet.

I remember this. It was in The Digger. The SPS quickly advised it wasn't true.

I think if he had been attacked at all we would all know
The digger article was a load of rubbish

Yeah. Unfortunate that it wasn't true either.
I read The Digger but purely for the comedy element. The kick back page at the back is brilliant.

Wasn’t this some months ago?

Yeah, the article's from the 4th of June? Some people might have missed it though I guess?
