Police are appealing for help in a search for a missing man from Deal.

Alex Holland was last seen in the Delane Road area of the town at around 9pm on Sunday.

The 27-year-old is described as 6ft with blue eyes and is believed to be wearing grey jogging bottoms.

Officers are concerned for his welfare and are looking for anyone with information on him to come forward.

Anyone who has seen Alex or knows of his whereabouts should call police on 101 quoting 29-1105.

Concerns are intensifying for the welfare of a “loving father” and “caring friend” who has been missing for six days.

Alex Holland, 27, was last seen in the Delane Road area of Deal on Sunday (November 28).

His friends described the disappearance as “very uncharacteristic”, with his children “needing answers” as to his whereabouts.

Mr Holland, who often works in construction, is described as 6ft tall with blue eyes and was believed to be wearing grey jogging bottoms.

The father-of-two has a small tattoo of the name Roxy on his left hand and a missing front tooth.

“I can not explain how much he needs to be found, mostly for his children, he is their dad, they need answers,” Bec Rose, mother of his children, said.

“Every day that passes our children are in more and more pain - they need to know Daddy is safe.

“This is very, very uncharacteristic behaviour for him, that’s the most worrying thing.

“He is a loving father and caring friend and if anyone sees him or knows where he is please get in touch.”

She added Mr Holland is known to frequent Deal, Dover and Sandwich, with his family growing “increasingly anxious day by day”.

'They need to know Daddy is safe'

Police, friends and family are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing dad.

Alex Holland, 27, from Deal, was last seen in the Delane Road area around 9pm on Sunday, November 28.

It has now been a week and despite multiple appeals from loved ones, the young father still has not been found.

Worried friends and family have shared numerous posts on social media urging people to come forward.

They said: "Someone, somewhere knows something, come forward with any information that you have, big or small."

Police have now issued an updated appeal to help find Alex and urge anyone with information to get in touch.

A spokesman for Kent Police said: "Alex Holland was last seen in the Delane Road area of the town at around 9pm on Sunday 28 November 2021 and officers are concerned for his welfare.

"He also has links to the Worth area..."

HOW CAN SOMEONE JUST DISSAPEAR???

It is beyond us! We just can not understand this! Missing without a trace just seems so unreal, something you watch on TV! This is real life

Someone knows where Alex is, someone knows why Alex didn't come back indoors after his cigarette!
