Is Alison headed in the direction of a mail box or post office? People local says she passed a few postboxes on her approx 3 mile walk from her home to the cctv. It would be interesting if a family member had access to her property and see if any of letter writing stuff had been recently used. When i write, i right over paper so a trace of what i right is still visible.

Body Located in East Yorkshire Sadly Confirmed as Missing Alison Danks

Colleagues from Humberside Police were called to a report of a body on the beach at Grimston in East Yorkshire on Monday 15th June, at 9:40am.

Officers from Cleveland Police were informed and we can now sadly confirm that the body has been identified as that of missing 39-year-old Alison Danks (also known as Bishop) from Marske.

Alison’s family have been informed and specialist officers will continue to support them. Our thoughts remain with them at this extremely difficult time.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file has been prepared for the Coroner.

What a terrible outcome. The simpleton in me had her making it to Spain or wherever she thought she needed to be and finding peace.
