A petrol station in mid Wales town Machynlleth has reopened to help with the search for missing five-year-old April Jones. Nerys Zjalic, the owner of Reads Garage, told ITV Wales:
'We'll stay open all night if we have to.
'We heard about the search through social networking sites and there was a lot of people going past our house. My friend called to ask if we would open so people can get petrol to help in the search. Locals are out in full force searching for her.'
I would expect her to have been wearing the uniform in the left hand photo. We are much further south and a good few degrees warmer and our kids are back in their winter uniform. At the time she was out playing it was getting dark/dark (sunset was around 18:50 today) and would have been quite nippy.
What worries me most was the fact the only witnesses appear to be other children of the same age. Did they run indoors and report it right away, or wait until they were called in and April was noticed missing? Could have given the van driver quite a head start.
I can't get over how much she looks like Sarah Payne Murder of Sarah Payne - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
According to a report I've seen her friends couldn't ID the van correctly.
I would be asking locals to open up garages and sheds first, it will be cold outside if she is anywhere trapped.

I'm wondering how common this type of van is in the UK. I notice there are no windows in the back. Makes my heart sink....
