Try measuring the distance from home to the garages using mapmyrun.com. Make sure you turn the automatic route planners on the right hand side off as they will take you via the roads - when off you can cut across the grassed areas. On the left it will show you the distance - came out at 0.08 of a mile for me. 5280 x 0.08 = 422 feet from home - this is what I was saying about the little things changing as the story has gone on.
Thank you for this, apart from little things changing (which can happen when different witness statements are compared and confirmed), there doesn't seem to be an official timeline, or if there is, it's very vague.
Parents go to school meeting, council says they left meeting by 3.30, mentions of swimming lesson, then 'she was allowed to play a bit later as treat for glowing report', parents are variously reported as still at school, mother and older sister at home preparing tea, Dad not mentioned (at school, at home?), did little friend raise alarm, what time were LE called, PJ can't join search or join wife for TV appeal due to 'degenerative eye disease', one friend confirms he can't work due to that, another says he is great guy, sees him out walking dog every day, photo of him with April on shoulders in Olympic torch parade, but not even photographed with wife (unless I missed it) since April gone missing. They have visited search HQ to thank searchers (have MSM been asked to not take photos? why?) A respectful photo without being intrusive or asking questions would be a positive thing.
Apart from a few vague hearsay reports that MB is good guy and his poor son saying that he has been told his Dad 'never did anything to anybody', where is the mother of his 2 children who lives a few doors up from the Jones, where are the other two recent exes who live on the estate? Maybe they are understandably laying low to protect their families from what has happened to Scott Williams. Don't remember seeing any early discussion along the lines of 'MB so close to family, children are 'cousins' to April, he wasn't with them or helping to search'
CJ's father and stepmother are quoted but still don't appear to have joined family, no mention of PJ's family, are there living paternal grandparents?
No wonder so many on this forum and other social media are feeling that 'something isn't right'. Not suspecting parents, generally there are bits missing that are not logically missing because of LE operational reasons.
No reason to doubt child witness report that April got into a vehicle, so what is it??
UK members will know, but this seems to be the most extensive, intensive search in recent memory with huge resources expended. Please God they find April to return her to her loved ones.
