My response to you was based onyour post number 123, about MB naming his company after an italian city, nothing to do with what type of firearm it was in the picture
It was me who wrote that.

Just want to quickly comment on a post in the old thread about a young man following this woman and her daughter. This sounds like the behaviour you could have expected from some of the young people I used to help out with at a special school for people with learning difficulties. They simply didn't understand personal space, and how certain types of behaviour were socially inappropriate. He might have even been trained to say "no problem" when apologised to about anything, just to make him appear more normal and less likely to be beaten up for being mentally disabled.

That is a good point and explains away why a strangers behavior may seem odd & unnerving to us sometimes. However, the person who posted this incident also mentioned another boy nearby.

Yes i know you originally wrote the comment but opal in post 123 agreed with you to whom i replied and asked how do all these bits of info mean anything, are relevant, and they then commented about me not getting the weapons bit, i never mentioned weapons when i replied to opal, just the fact that could anything or should be made of anyone naming their business after going on holiday somewhere and the rest of the info gleaned off facebook like putting ketchup in ones cupboard

:D

Something I am wondering about is the statement made by the neighbor, who said AJ's sister came knocking on his door looking for April. Where were the two older siblings while CJ and PJ were at the parents evening?

Got a link for that snippet? Who is the neighbour?

Personally I believe in a no-body case CPS would be putting forth any witness they could be it child or adult. That's just my opinion having followed a few of these cases now.

In the Bianca Jones case (The Michigan case of a no-body homicide of a 2 year old.) her 8 year old sister testified at trial about abuse she both witnessed and experienced. D'Andre Lane, Bianca's father, was convicted of 1st degree murder and child abuse. He is facing LWOP and is due to be sentenced next month. Bianca was reported "missing" by her father December 2, 2011. Her body has not been recovered. :(

I'd like to know who else was out that night and saw the children playing. April could have got into MB's car and got out a few minutes later when the other child had gone inside. April could have knocked at someone's door on the estate and then vanished for good. The estate should be thoroughly searched by the police. Every single house.

Something I've just remembered is that there's an underground (concrete covered, grass on top) water reservoir for the town on the hill behind the estate.

Robert Griffiths, 38, a council worker and retained firefighter who lives close by, said the green had always been the sort of place where children could play safely. "Everybody knows everybody. It is the sort of place where you can leave your door unlocked. I've brought up three kids here, they've always played out without any problems."

As dusk fell, April became separated from her friends. Some say she was playing in a narrow alleyway just off the green when she was abducted. Within minutes her family realised something was wrong. Relatives, friends and April's siblings began knocking on doors asking if anyone had seen her.

"Her sister banged on my door at around 7.30pm asking me if I'd seen her," said Griffiths. He went out, assuming she would be found. "When I came back there were hundreds of people on the green, it was chaos. There are lots of rumours, lots of people repeating versions of the story, you don't know what to believe."

This is the man whose wife has two children with MB?

A big difference between narrow alley and the garages that everyone living there would know about. Where are these alleys on the estate?

I did on the last thread. ;) It's becoming more and more common to have child witnesses testify at all sorts of court proceedings - from family law to criminal. Scientific studies also suggest school age children much less prone to suggestibility than preschoolers. HTH

(Oh! It was also estimated in the States through an extrapolation of state data that there are approximately 100k+ child witnesses annually, nationally.) CPS also has a great deal on their site about children testifying.

I'm sure you're right in family law cases and other crimes. I'm specifically talking about murder trials in the UK in the last 20 years. I'm struggling to think of one.

Just saying it is extremely rare. And I want to believe that the police wouldn't put these kids and their families through it if they have other evidence.

... Davies, Edwards, Parry, Evans,

There's one word for this: inbreeding. I'm Welsh so I can get away with saying it. In most of these rural areas, you'll find that people are related to each other in more than one way. 2nd cousins, 3rd cousins once removed, etc.
