GUILTY UK - Arrest in 1987 'Bedsit Murders' of Wendy Knell, 25, and Caroline Pierce, 20, in Kent

Awkward! Having seen both from the sharp end for a number of years, I feel certain that anyone who goes rogue is far better camouflaged in the NHS.

However, I am far from saying that the police don't need a wake up call as a consequence of the frequent abuse of power arising from either ignorance or deliberate unlawful conduct.

The police need a massive overhaul, especially when it comes to recruitment.

From recent cases it is clear to me that the police recruitment programme is not designed to filter out murderers/rapists, racists...and lets be honest, nazi sympathisers. It is also well known that in the 70s & 80s the police (esp the Met) was rife with National Front & BNP supporters and even members. The numbers may have reduced however I doubt by much...imo.

I've read that Fuller was busted for creeper burglary in 1973 and then 1977. Looks like his first brush with the law was at the age of 19.

At one of the above points in time, he asked for 23 other offences to be taken into consideration. It'll be interesting to find out what those 23 other offences were.

Also, it would appear that he lied on all NHS job applications about his criminal record but was finally found out during 2015. However, it's not clear on who sponsored the DBS check. Was it Interserve (the PFI provider) or the NHS?

Jimmy Savile wouldn't have had the opportunity to be in a hospital if the police hadn't been complicit in a cover-up of his crimes dating back to the 1950s. A conviction in the 50s or 60s would've meant that his hospital crimes would never have happened imo. You seem to blame the NHS entirely, however the police are far more responsible imo.

Tell me, are you an outsider looking in or someone with first hand experience of the workings of the NHS and the police?

I think you need to cast your net somewhat wider to get to the truth of Jimmy Saville and how he went unchallenged. The same with Greville Janner, Cyril Smith, Peter Hayman and others.

Look with an open mind and you will find the truth.

A new article about necrophiliac Fuller.
Necrophiliac murder accused was 'kind and gentle'

David was an avid photographer and saw himself as the official 'unofficial' photographer for Cutting Crew, who were doing a lot of gigging at the time.

"He would follow them and take hundreds of pictures of them.... They (Fuller and his wife) followed them everywhere and went to every gig. They must have spent hundreds."

I've witnessed a couple like this, approx 70 years old, who were at a rock gig and videoing every moment - I overheard them saying they video and record details of tons of concerts. Obviously an obsession with cataloguing. So if David did this too, but in photo format I would money on him cataloguing all his photos - due to the footage the police found hidden. He clearly had obsessive cataloguing thing going on. JMO MOO

EDITING to state they were likely late 60's as they were about 10 years older than me and I looked up the concert online and it was either 6 or 8 years ago (they played the same venue over several years).

I have insider knowledge of the workings of the NHS.

Having done extensive research of Savile I stand by my comment. I have an extremely open mind, and am very aware of the truth...as are the rest of the population. Which is why the police get so much flak over his case!!

The police were responsible for charging Savile and they refused to do so... end of!!

I can’t bear to imagine what his wife is going through. You’d never feel clean. His poor children. Imagine having his blood coursing through your veins. I hope they can somehow rebuild their lives.[/QUOTE]

SBM. It makes me retch just imagining it. I agree. I'd have to move abroad and try and forget it.

You quite obviously haven't researched Saville, or the other individuals I mentioned, to any great extent, or you would have a wider view of ALL the 'players' and their influence.

As a point of fact, it is not the police who make the decision to charge an individual. It is the responsibility of the Crown Prosecution Service, who are entirely independent of the police.

You will see from the report below that Surrey police did investigate Saville and submit files to the CPS in relation to four offences. The CPS made the decision not to charge at the time based on the Full Code Test.

Jimmy Savile: Prosecutors to re-examine abuse allegations

Many at the BBC, including senior managers, were complicit in covering up Saville's behaviour because of their lack of integrity by failing to speak up loud and clear.

BBC bosses still trying to cover tracks over Savile in 2012, says Andy Kershaw

So your assertion' s are procedurally incorrect and appear to be based on nothing more than you having an axe to grind rather than making a rational and evidenced argument.

That you "know the truth" and also have the mandate to speak for the rest of the populations' insight is encouraging in that we appear to have found a enigmatic leader who knows all all the answers.....hurrah :D

Timeline for David Fuller

With a special thank you mention to a journalist at the Telegraph newspaper who has also compiled a timeline in the following article. ‘Bedsit killer’ murdered two women and had sex with at least 100 corpses in mortuaries

1954: David Fuller was born in Dover, Kent. He was one of three children, with an older brother and younger sister.
They moved to South Africa when he was two or three for a short period of time.

The family later moved to Hampshire area and Fuller attended Portsea Secondary Modern between 1966 and 1971.

According to the Telegraph timeline Fuller had previous criminal convictions for theft and arson as a teenager. However, any DNA records from this period did not bring his later conviction. (He was caught and convicted of the 'Bedsit Murders' after police linked an unrelated crime scene DNA from his brother).

He pleaded guilty to three domestic burglaries at Portsmouth Crown Court, with 23 other offences taken into consideration, in 1973 and a further offence in 1977, with three other offences taken into consideration, but he was never jailed.

Fuller trained as to be an to be an electrical fitter at HM Dockyard in Portsmouth.

Fuller told the court that he went through a four year apprenticeship with the Ministry of Defence.

Fuller's first wife was a woman called 'Gillian', second wife Sally and his third and current wife was 'Mala

1972: Marriage to Gillian x in Portsmouth, South Hampshire. They had two children together but the marriage soon ended after an affair.

He said he would stay with a friend in Tonbridge whilst doing odd jobs for people he knew and worked for an electronics company in Tonbridge high street.

1983: Marriage to Sally x in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. He then met Sally in Tonbridge, having moved from Portsmouth, in the early 1980s, marrying at Tunbridge Wells register office, with a church blessing in the nearby village of Speldhurst.

Mid 1980's: Fuller and his wife Sally who has since died lived in a staff house at Broomhill Bank, a school for girls with learning difficulties.

Mid 1980's: David was an avid photographer and saw himself as the official 'unofficial' photographer for Cutting Crew, who were doing a lot of gigging at the time.
David Fuller 'regularly cheated on his wife', murder trial hears
"He would follow them and take hundreds of pictures of them.....They (Fuller and his wife) followed them everywhere and went to every gig. They must have spent hundreds."

1987: Fuller was responsible for the sexually motivated murders of Wendy Knell, 20, and 25-year-old Caroline Pierce in Tunbridge Wells.

1989 onwards: Fuller worked as a hospital electrician and maintenance engineer in two hospitals. He sexually assaulted up to 100 corpses in at the two locations - the now-closed Kent and Sussex Hospital (until 2010) and then Tunbridge Wells Hospital. The victims, all female, included three children and a number of women aged over 85.

1990: Fuller has an affair with a nurse he meets at the hospital sports and social club
David Fuller accused of 1987 murder of two women 'regularly cheated on wife', court hears | Daily Mail Online
Quote: In a statement read to the court, Susan Marjoram said: 'I thought he was serious about us. We would meet at the social club and he would come back to my address and we were intimate.'He never stayed the night and although we had sex there was never anything kinky'.

Fuller's hobbies included cycling, photography and being an unofficial photographer for the group, Cutting Crew.

2000 to 2020: Fuller lived in Heathfield with a new wife Mayla Fuller
David Fuller: 'Distraught' wife of killer who abused corpses in mortuaries says she left him after arrest

December 2020: Fuller's family home in Heathfield, East Sussex, was raided in the early hours of December 3 2020.
After Fuller's arrest in December, police uncovered hard drives and images hidden at his home which showed that over "an extended period of time" he used his access to the mortuary "to carry out acts of sexual penetration of female corpses", the prosecutor said.

November 2021: David Fuller pleaded guilty to the 1987 murders of Wendy Knell and Caroline Pierce. Wendy Knell aged 25 was discovered sexually assaulted and beaten to death at her bedsit in Tunbridge Wells.
He also pleaded guilty to the murder of Caroline Pierce, a 20-year-old waitress, went missing from her bedsit in nearby Grosvenor Park, only for her body to be found weeks later nearly 40 miles away on Romney Marsh. Being close to his grandparents, he would often spend holidays with them on the Kent coast close to Romney Marsh so was familiar with the area.
Mr Atkinson QC said that the prosecution's case is that Fuller killed and sexually assaulted the women to satisfy his desire.
"His desire for sexual gratification through the observation and identification of vulnerable women, gaining control of them, and then indulging his depraved sexual predilections in relation to them, all provides the explanation in relation to their murder.

The containing trial of the former hospital electrician is believed to be worst case of necrophilia in British legal history.

The court heard that between 2008 and 2020, Fuller had filmed and photographed himself sexually abusing the bodies of dozens of women and girls at the two Tunbridge Wells hospital mortuaries where he had worked. He was able to access through his job with door entry as the maintenance supervisor.

"After the horrific abuse, he used Facebook to track down the people he'd defiled and learn about their lives during a spine-chilling spree of crimes that went on from 2008 to November 2020".
Bedsit Murderer had sex with 99 corpses as young as 9 & killed 2 women

The trial continues.

The TIC's will have been for like offences, such as burglary, attempted burglary, going equipped etc.

He will have admitted to all the offences in custody but only charged with specific specimen offences. Being charged and sentenced for the additional offences will not have increased his sentence. They enable the police to clear up crimes reported!

It may be useful to know that burglary requires entry (specified premises types) as a trespasser with intent to commit theft and/or:

1. Rape
2. Grevious Bodily Harm
3. Criminal Damage

Therefore it is essential to investigate the intent of the offender, as it may be inherently more menacing than basic theft. I question what DF's intent was back then?

If theft or GBH occur then they can be charged as burglary, but rape and criminal damage MUST be charged as their respective substantive offences.

I also read, can't think where, that Jean Brook was sunbathing in the early afternoon on the day she was murdered. Possibly voyeuristic intent by the murderer, on a June day.

The former Bedgebury School (girls boarding), now the Bedgebury Park Estate has a direct access to Park Lane in the forest, where Jean Brook's vehicle was parked and her body was found nearby.

@SaintGertrude also pointed out previously that it should be ascertained if DF's previous wife ever worked there. If indeed she did and was married to DF prior to/at the time of this offence, then the circumstantial factor is ramped up ten fold, I feel. JMO.
Jean Brook was murdered at Bedgebury forest on 11th June 1982
Fuller married his second wife Sally in 1983
During 1982 Fuller would stay with a friend in Tonbridge whilst doing odd jobs for people he knew and worked for an electronics company in Tonbridge high street.
I am not sure how long he was dating Sally for before the marriage. I have also not been able to ascertain any connection with her ever working at Bedgebury girls boarding school or Fuller having done any of his odd jobs there.
