Not finding any updates about a trial, meanwhile- looking at these photos, it is hard to imagine how anybody could want to hurt this lovely mom and daughter. imo.

I'm assuming the trial will be at the High Court, he's not listed on the rolls for the week commencing 5 July at the moment.

No High Court in Dundee, it only sits in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen. Probably best to consider yourself lucky, it’ll be a grim case for sure.

You’ll get Dundee Sheriff rolls for that date in a couple of weeks.

Innes faced the charges as he appeared via video-link at the High Court in Glasgow on Tuesday.

He probably lured Bennylyn to his home on some guise to get at the 7 year old.

''Innes is separately accused of assaulting, raping and attempting to rape that same child as well detaining her against her will at the house in Dundee.

This is also said to have happened between the same dates of the alleged murders.

No plea was entered at the hearing today.

Innes had no lawyer acting for him in court. The nature of the charges means he must get legal representation for any possible trial.

Prosecutor Alex Prentice QC told the court: "I understand that he (Innes) has made an application for legal aid and that was refused.

"He has instructed an Edinburgh solicitor (Stephen Knowles) on a very limited mandate.''

This young girl was badly let down. Some people unfortunately don’t have the ability to detect danger. Already under protection and vulnerable, she’s stumbled into a . I had a friend who seemed to have the same knack. She went from a full paid internship at Perkins to living on the streets and dead from a boyfriend at 29.

I don’t usually condone the death penalty, but I find it’s always good to remain open minded if someone wants to bring back an old tradition for this kind of guy.

we all knew what was happening and it doesn’t make it any easier to read it in black and white. Life without parole and let’s not waste any taxes on some special high security. Let him survive in general
