GUILTY UK - Bobbi-Anne Mcleod,18, ‘did not arrive to meet friends’ Plymouth, 20 Nov 2021 *Arrest*

The owner of the property that's currently being searched by forensics officers on Radcliffe Road is a limited company, whose primary director is also a taxi driver in Plymouth. I won't name any names. He's too old to be 24, but he apparently has two sons, one of whom was born in 1996, and I'm not sure about the other.

Just putting that out there. Ultimately the Radcliffe Road property is owned by a limited company, so it could be used as a rental property, but the property is linked to a taxi driver/company, and taxis have the ideal geographical profile for murder, as well as an excuse to be just about anywhere, plus often fairly anonymous.

My goodness, if your teen can't even take a bus at six pm... :(

Bobbi apparently previously attended the Southway Youth Centre, which is 230 metres/750 feet from the property currently being searched by forensics (Radcliffe Close).

Coincidence?

I've been thinking about this case so much and I think it's so much worse if this man is a stranger. Not just because it makes it feel more unavoidable but also if he didn't know her then he wouldn't have known her age. She was barely an adult and certainly didn't look like one meaning that he would have seen a child and it just feels so slimey. Moo but if he didn't know her age then they should charge whoever did this as if she was a minor.

RIP Bobbi :( Another case like this, so recently after Sarah and Sabina's? Makes me wonder if the more they are publicized, the more it gives people ideas.

Then I do still wonder if (in this case, maybe even Sabina's too) that there was some link? Like if I think about all the people who I know that my family aren't aware of, there would be loads. Of course it happens but this kind of thing was pretty much unheard of generally before it happened to Sarah. They got onto the case really quickly as well so I'm curious to see more details hopefully revealed over the next few days.

This is terrifying :(
With Bobbi’s personal items being found at the bus stop, that suggests she may have been forcibly taken rather than persuaded to get into a vehicle. It’s dark by 4.30pm now so certainly would have been very dark and if there was no one else at the bus stop then it’s possible there was no one nearby to witness an abduction. Could he have stopped to ‘ask for directions’ and forced her into a vehicle? Poor girl must have been terrified, I dread to think what she might have endured.

Bobbi-Anne McLeod's mum says she 'will never be forgotten' at emotional vigil

Mum Donna McLeod sobbed as she spoke publicly for the first time since 18-year-old Bobbi-Anne was reported missing before releasing balloons into the sky and lighting up candles

Hundreds of people have tonight attended a candle-lit vigil tonight where the family of murdered teen Bobbi-Anne McLeod spoke publicly for the first time.

Donna McLeod, the mother of Bobbi-Anne, sobbed as she paid tribute to her daughter and thanked friends, family and the wider community for their support.

Surrounded by other family members, her voice trembled but she completed a prepared statement.

She said: "I would like to thank everyone for coming, on behalf of the family. It's nice everyone is coming together in the circumstances.

"Unfortunately, our beautiful Bobbi-Anne has been taken from us, but she will never be forgotten.

The vigil and tributes were held next to bus stop where she vanished on Saturday.

Earlier, Bobbi-Anne's family including her parents, grandparents and siblings, left their home and walked the short distance to the bus stop flanked by dozens more supporters, carrying balloons.

The family group then held up their candles in unison before releasing around 40 balloons into the sky.

Man, 24, is charged with murdering 18-year-old Bobbi-Anne McLeod | Daily Mail Online

The man charged with the murder of teenager Bobbi-Anne McLeod is the lead guitarist in a popular local indie rock band.

Cody James Ackland, 24, who lives in central Plymouth with his mother Helen, 49, is accused of abducting the 18-year-old as she waited at a bus stop last Saturday evening.

Ackland - who walked into court today covered by a blanket - is the lead guitarist in local indie band Rakuda, which is made up of three other members, who are all close friends.

He was born in Germany, where his father, 53 is believed to have served in the British Army. His parents are separated but live close to each other in Plymouth.

Ackland’s four-piece band are named after Bar Rakuda, a popular venue in the centre of the city which they regularly frequent.

This is so frightening. I know it seems like a stupid thing to say, but he looks so "normal" - I wouldn't have thought twice if he approached to ask me something at a bus stop at 6pm. Seems like his friends in the band are completely shocked as well. Absolutely horrible.
